Last Minute Plans that Ended with Lots of Fun Stories and Bingo Wins!

Hello to the beautiful community of @Family-Friends! Here I am again to share to you another wonderful story I had with my friends...

Have you ever had a coworker or coworkers who turned into a friend/friends? Work feels so much better when you’ve got people you enjoy being with. You start sharing not just your daily routines but even your personal struggles with each other. Work becomes lighter and hours feel like minutes when you are surrounded by good company. Sometimes, we even end up being chosen as godparents for each other’s children during their baptisms. Our closeness has grown that much over the time.

Yesterday after work, my coworkers suddenly planned and invited me to unwind in Pilar, the town right next to ours. We all agreed and hopped on our motorcycles and headed to Pilar together. We spotted a cozy café, dined in and ordered something to eat. The order took some time but we did not bother since we had plenty of stories to share that kept us busy.

We ordered rice meals and nachos. We snapped some pictures too, and shared laughs while enjoying our meal. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every bite until we were full.

We got home around 7PM, and on our way back to our town, we passed by a bingo game happening. So, we agreed to go home first and change clothes before going there. When I got home, I invited my husband as well as my son to join us in going to the bingo and they agree. So, I took them with me, rode an electric bike and that’s where we all met up again. But our one girl friend did not come back because she said she was so sleepy already. And we told her it’s okay and she can have some rest.

We played several rounds of bingo and luckily, we won! Playing was so much fun even my husband and son enjoyed it too! We were so happy all the way until we got home. We ended the night with smiles on our faces and waving goodbye to each other as we go on our separate routes.

When we got home, I told my parents about everything that happened earlier. They were so happy! They really love it when I share what’s going on in my life with them. My mom said she would like to try playing bingo next time too! Who knows, she might win as well! I said “of course, I will go with you next time and if you win, you have to treat me some coffee jelly at Kapetera (a café near our house)". She burst out laughing and happily agreed to the deal. Turns out my son overheard us and said he wants to come too! So he can get a treat as well.
