“Brace Adjustment Day Turned Family Dinner Night at Bistro”

Hello everyone! Hello to my dear fellow hivers here in this beautiful community of @hiveph! How are you today? I hope you are all doing fine. Here I am “LJ” to share again another wonderful life story to y’all.

Yesterday was my scheduled appointment for my brace adjustment, so I made sure to prepare early. Before heading to the clinic, I stopped by Landbank located near our municipal hall to withdraw some cash for my payment. It didn’t take long since there weren’t many people at the ATM that morning. After I got the money, I immediately went straight to the dental clinic.

When I arrived, I noticed that there were only a few patients waiting, which was a relief because I didn’t have to wait for too long. After a few minutes, it was already my turn. The dentist checked my teeth, tightened the wires, and made some minor adjustments. I could already feel a bit of pressure, but it’s something I’ve gotten used to every month. After finishing my session, I thanked my dentist and decided to head straight home to rest.

As soon as I arrived at home, I saw a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts on the table, it turned out that my brother and his girlfriend had bought some for everyone. I couldn’t resist the temptation, so I grabbed one of my favorites, the original glazed, and enjoyed it with a glass of cold water. It was the perfect treat after my dental visit, even though I had to chew a bit carefully because of my braces.

After the sweet snack, I settled on the couch and opened netflix to continue watching the series I’ve been following the past few weeks which was the “It’s okay not to be okay”. The story was getting more interesting, and I found myself completely hooked on the latest episode. It was such a relaxing afternoon, just me, my comfy blanket, and the show playing on the background. Time passed quickly without me even realizing it.

Around 6 p.m., my tita called and invited us to have dinner outside. Since we didn’t have any plans for the evening, we all agreed. After a few minutes of deciding where to go, we finally chose to eat at Bistro, one of the cozy restaurants in Pilar, next to our town. This restaurant serves great food which made a great choice for us!

We arrived there just in time for dinner, and the ambiance was really nice, added by the warm lights, relaxing music and the smell of freshly cooked dishes filled tha air. We ordered some of our favorites, including chicken, sisig, pasta and fries. Everything tasted delicious, and we spent the whole dinner chatting and laughing about rabndom stories. It was a nice way of ending the day, from a simple morning brace appointment to a hearty family dinner.
