A Family Visit to Support My Youngest Brother’s Small Food Business: The “Cantoon Network”

Hello my dear fellow hivers! Hello to the beautiful community of @hiveph! How are you today? I hope you are all doing fine. This is me again, “LJ” to share another wonderful life story to y’all.

Family Dinner @ Cantoon Network.png

Today I will share to you the time when we went to visit my youngest brother’s small business, which recently moved to a new location. I already mentioned in one of my previous blogs about his small business called “Cantoon Network”, a cute and creative name inspired by his love for both cartoons and comfort food. Since he transferred to a new place, we decided to visit and check it out personally. I was so curious to see how the new spot looked and how things were going for him.

We went there during dinner time, and I was with my husband and our son. It was nice that we went together as a family because it’s been a while since we last visited my brother’s store. The moment we arrived, I immediately noticed how cozy and inviting the new place was. The lighting was warm, the setup was simple and organized since it was located in an open area. You could really feel that youthful and cheerful vibe that perfectly fit the name “Cantoon Network”. The staff greeted us with a big smile.

After, we decided to order dinner there. Of course, we didn’t miss trying their best-seller drinks and famous buldak with add-ons like spam. It was our first time trying the new version and it did bot disapoint at all! The buldak was spicy but flavorful, and the spam added that extra salty crunch that made it even better. My husband and son really liked it too! They enjoyed their drinks as well.

While eating, we talked about everything. We talked about how my brother started the business and how he managed to move to this new location. How he shared challenging the tranfer and seeting up again. But seeing customers come in and enjoy the food makes all the hard work worth it.

I could not help but feel proud of my dear brother. It was not easy to run a small business but he was doing all his best and improving little by little.

It was such a fun and heartwarming night overall. Before we left, my brother told the staff to prepare a few take-out drinks for us and thanked us for dropping by. My brother said that this visit gave him motivation to keep going, especially on days when business gets a bit slow. Hearing him say that made me realize how important it is to support our loved ones, even in small ways like simply visiting or sharing their posts online. Those gestures may seem simple, but they truly mean a lot to someone who is working hard to build something from scratch.

On our way home, I could not stop thinking about how far my brother had come. It makes me proud to see how determination and creativity can turn dreams into something real.

And that’s it for today’s blog! Thank you for reading and droppin’ by. I hope to see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us!

Lots of love,
