CHERISHED MOMENTS: SIBLING GETAWAY AT COCONUT BAY BEACH RESORT AND RESTAURANT

Hope you’re doing well! Let’s keep a positive vibe every day! Today, I got up early and feeling fresh and motivated. My siblings are here in Cagayan De Oro City and I am so happy. Finally, after how many months of not being together, they had the chance to visit me today. Even though they could only stay for a week but I will cherish every moment of it. My heart was full of excitement as I have planned to show them around. My first plan was going to “COCONUT BAY BEACH RESORT AND RESTAURANT”.

Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Restaurant was located at Baloy, Tablon, Cagayan De Oro City. Entrance fee was 50 pesos, including free table. What a great deal! There were two pools at the resort, one for kids and one for adult. Even with these pools the resort is positioned right beside the sea, allowing the guest to enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze.

Upon arriving at the resort, the first thing that caught our attention was the giant fish statue. It was an eye-catching centerpiece with the beautifully engraved words on it “Welcome to Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Restaurant”. The statue adds a unique charm to the resort, its impressive size and intricate details made it a perfect spot for photos and it made us feel resort’s coastal vibe. It made us even more excited to explore the resort.

As the name Coconut Bay, I naturally expected to see plenty of coconut trees and I was right! The resort was surrounded by a lot of coconut palms. The place was spacious, the greenery surroundings and fresh sea breeze creates a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. By the way, the resort has a big aquarium that has pretty fishes.

It was almost 1pm when we arrived at the resort and we hadn’t eaten lunch yet. So, we ordered rice and sinuglaw, it is a combination of “sinugba” or grilled pork and “kinilaw” raw fish cured in vinegar. After, lunch we dip into the pool and had fun.

Do you also get hungry after swimming? Because after having fun at the pool the 4 of us got hungry and we ordered pancit bihon and lomi to fill our stomach. The food was delish. The resort's customer service was good, the staff was approachable and polite. They responded to our request in a good manner. Overall, the staff’s friendly attitude and efficient service added to our enjoyment in the resort.

We had so much fun at the resort, it was indeed a happy day! From the moment we arrived, the exciting atmosphere made us feel relaxed and cheerful. We enjoyed exploring the spacious surroundings, swimming in the pool, and taking picture in the beautiful views. Laughter filled the air as I spent quality time with my sibling, creating memories with them that I will surely cherished. A combination of good company and a refreshing environment made the day even more special. It was a perfect day full of happiness and fun!

We left the resort with smiles and happy memories. I am grateful for the fun and relaxation we experienced. The view, food, laughter and the bonding with each other made the day truly unforgettable. Every moment was filled with joy, and as we headed home, we carried those precious memories in our hearts. It was a perfect getaway, leaving us refreshed and excited for the next adventure. Until then, the memories of this wonderful day will always bring a smile to our faces.
