Work to the hands / Obra a las manos (ENG / ESP)

Within a week my Dylan will turn 17, it is already taller than me but for me it is still that little naughty one who fascinates the balls, the walks and the sweets.

This year we are going to celebrate it a few days in advance because we want to share their party with friends who enjoy the goodness of the "we walk" and "blue sleep" projects.

And as there is a party you have to put ornaments, so we gave ourselves to the task of creating the chains with some colored papers, scissors, something to mark and glue.

Ready the materials we put "get to work and work at the hands"

The first was to mark and cut (this first step to Dylan is simple)

When we have all the circles ready in each one we make two cuts inside it, but without reaching the end (in some the cut it passed us and we had to discard them) 🤭

Then we paste, it must alternate: some stick well to the center and others on each side of the cuts (this part with the glue always costs a little more difficulty because he does not like to embark) 😅

At each end I placed some caps with a cord so that when hanging the chain it is easier.

And so far, the first chain of the birthday.

Dentro de una semana mi Dylan cumplirá 17 años, ya es más alto que yo pero para mí sigue siendo ése pequeño travieso al que le fascinan las pelotas, los paseos y los dulces.

Este año lo vamos a celebrar con unos días de anticipación porque queremos compartir su fiesta con los amigos que disfrutan con él la bondad de los proyectos "Caminemos" y "Sueño Azul".

Y como hay fiesta hay que poner adornos, así que nos dimos a la tarea de crear las cadenetas con algunos papeles de colores, tijeras, algo para marcar y pegamento.

Listos los materiales pusimos "Manos a la obra y obra a las manos"

Lo Primero fue marcar y recortar (este primer paso a Dylan le resulta sencillo)

Cuando tenemos todos los círculos listos en cada uno hacemos dos cortes dentro de él, pero sin llegar al final (en algunos el corte se nos pasó y debimos desecharlos)🤭

Luego pegamos, debe alternarse: unos se pegan bien al centro y otros a cada lado de los cortes (esta parte con el pegamento siempre le cuesta un poco de más dificultad porque no le gusta embarrarse) 😅

En cada extremo yo coloqué unas tapitas con un cordón para que a la hora de colgar la cadeneta resulte más sencillo.

Y hasta aquí, la primera cadeneta del cumple.
