Saludos querido hivers, desde esta generosa puerta de #ecency voy a intentar colarme por un momento en sus vidas para compartirles una pequeña vivencia, de esas que suelen pasar inadvertidas.

Hace unos días, mientras caminaba con mi hija Lía por la feria de artesanía "Arte para mamá", que se realiza cada año en el parque central de la ciudad por el día de las madres, ella me preguntaba qué quería que me regalara, eso me hizo recordar cuando éramos pequeños, mi hermano y yo, y mi abuela decía su frase: el mejor regalo es el que deben hacer todos los días. Y agregaba: sean buenos niños y pórtense bien con su mamá.

Entonces nos mirábamos e íbamos en busca de un perfume o flores o algún adorno, algo que pudiéramos envolver y que nos hiciera sentir orgullosos de haber hallado el regalo más bonito.

¿Qué te gustaría que te regalara mamá? Volvió a preguntar Lía, esta vez sonreí y sintiendo la voz de mi abuela le respondí: todo lo que quiero es que estudies y que te portes bien.

Hoy comprendo la frase de mi abuela, hoy sé que, ciertamente, el mejor regalo es verlos crecer en el amor y el respeto.

Seguramente mis hijos también me sorprenderán con algo que podrán envolver, cuando eso suceda voy a abrazarlos muy fuerte para robarles el mejor de los regalos, ese que mi abuela nos daba cuando nos acariciaba la cabeza y nos hacía sonreír con sus historias.
