Vancouver took the brunt of the pre 1997 handover. I remember visiting Vancouver probably around 2010, as I was travelling downtime from the airport, there were so many shops along the road with the Chinese signs, very much like being in HK. The CCP weren't that much invasive back then, but has definitely got worse in the past 10 years

2010 was the time we hosted the Olympic winter games.
And the president of the Chinese Olympic committee was there to be handed the Olympic flag from the Vancouver Mayor.
It was ten years ago when we somehow elected a horribly weak Prime minister named Justin Trudeau.
I knew he was a terrible leader but the news media didn't do their homework.

With the newly crowned but UN-elected Mark Carney (former Goldman Sachs crony) I will not touch with a 10 meter ballot.
The news media still won't do their homework.

If the US do plan to invade Canada (lesser of two evils), they better do it soon before China buys out my country from beneath me.
