3D coffee at Cafe Bristol in Warsaw, Poland
Continuing with my cafe review journey, this time we're in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. The cafe we're visiting is called Cafe Bristol located inside one of the city's best 5 star hotel, and is just a stone's throw away from the Presidential Palace. Even before entering, I could feel the aura of sophistication and elegance.
Despite its legendary status in Warsaw, Cafe Bristol was very welcoming and didn't feel pretentious at all. I've been to some prestigious restaurants and cafes before, where the waiters/waitresses, most notably in some Asian countries, give you looks because you don't look posh or rich enough. At Cafe Bristol, I didn't feel uneasy at all. I mean they didn't welcome me with a typical American style bubbly warm greeting and a massive smile. It just felt comfortable and welcoming.
According to the official website, the decor is art nouveau, but I really couldn't tell you exactly what that means. My impression of it, looks like some of the grand old cafe from Vienna, something that I've always had at the back of my mind, don't know why. Perhaps it's the checkered floor, or maybe the beautiful wooden counter and furniture. Or perhaps it's the elegant round lampshades propped along the counter which I thought was so dainty and sweet.
Cafe Bristol is located next to a park across the road. If you sit by one of the tables by the window, it's a fantastic way to spend the afternoon, just watching the world go by in a lovely capital city in Europe.
The selection of cakes on display all looked so mouthwatering. Cakes are my favourite, and if I had the choice I'd go for at least 3 or 4 pieces, but one must not be too greedy and I have my waistline to consider 😊 I choose the house special, the Cafe Bristol cake. It was a chocolate cake (my ultimate favourite) with vanilla mousse topped with raspberries and a piece of white chocolate ribbon. At 38 zt, that's a little over USD9, it was a bit on the high side for a piece of cake, but it was divine. Plus I don't know if and when I will visit Warsaw again, so I think it was worth every penny. I was secretly hoping hubby would choose another piece of my favourite chocolate based cake, but he went with a cheesecake instead. It was still very nice.
And finally to the coffee. It came with a piece of nut brittle, and a 3D image. I'm pretty sure it's a 3D image and not a stencil because the image was still quite intact when I got to the end of my coffee. I've heard of 3D coffee printing machines recently, some can even print your own image on your coffee, how cool is that! This is the first time I've had a coffee with a 3D image. Although it makes no difference to the actual taste (it was a good coffee by the way), I think it was a very nice touch especially since they printed an autumn message on my coffee, making the whole experience very special.
If you're ever in Warsaw, I would highly recommend dropping by Cafe Bristol for coffee and try out some of their mouth watering cakes. It's more than just a luxury culinary experience, it's also an experience at a Warsaw legend.

Don't you just HATE that?
The coffee art is unique; I love that, and that chocolate moose looks divine (even for someone who doesn't like chocolate). If it were carrot, lemon, and coffee cake, I'd have no qualms having a slice of each 😋
Yes, it looks like a typical European cafe to me, not necessarily Art Deco.
wow muy elegante el lugar y re bonito ^^
That is a super cool imagine on the coffee. I didn't know they had 3D imagine printers for coffee. The most important part is that the coffee was good 😊 The cakes look very good as well, Your out of town enjoying the ambience of a new place the price is right since it hit the spot 👍
my error, this particular one is not 3d, just a normal coffee printer, but still a novelty for me. The best part of course, was the cake, I'm a sucker for sweet stuff
It's ok, tbh I really didn't know how these designs were made on the top anyways. I never had a coffee with the designs on top. Than again I don't go to cafe often, mostly a home drinker. I'll have to be more observant when I go next time 😊
The ambience inside the cafe speaks up the goodness they presrve to serve....and those cakes looks tempting. Though I am.jot big coffee fan except when it comes to cold coffee....BTW who wants to spoil the beautifully crafted 3D shot...I let it be like this 😁
That coffee is unreal... lol... Even I, a not coffee drinker would be tempted to try it... 😃
I was "kicked out" once from such a restaurant... 😂 It was their mistake that they didn't want my money... btw.. they closed a few months after that "event"... it was "too posh"... 😃
what happened? they didn't really kick you out for that, did they? Well, served them right they closed down afterwards!!!
Hehehe... I was with a friend and we had "casual clothing" that was "inappropriate" for their fancy restaurant... and when we waited to be seated, the waitress looked at us and told us that everything was reserved (while the restaurant was completely empty... lol...) 😂
That is so not on!!
Actually I've come across those situations before but I've never thought it was due to my dress code. I always thought the guests hadn't arrived yet. Now I'm going to think differently in future
Oh yes, those cakes look delicious! This place would be very dangerous for me!
haha! you a dessert lover as well?
My nieces say I have a sugar tooth!
Hello friend, how beautiful that place is and it would be a great oven to go visit it and be able to enjoy a good cup of coffee, also incredible the attention and the way they serve things there, so that five-star place will be very pleasant. I liked those desserts, very delicate and how about that flavor? Also a design in the coffee foam that would be bad to damage, but nothing can be done to preserve it. Good luck and hope you enjoy each of those places during the trip.
The dessert was lovely, even the cheesecake my husband chose and I am not normally a big fan of cheesecakes. Overall it was a great way to spend an afternoon
I was amazed by the beauty of the place, and even more so by the chocolate cake, I would have surely eaten more than one. It's the first time I've heard about a 3D image printed in coffee, it's amazing!
A charming cafe.
It's the first time I've had a printed coffee, I think it's become a bit of a fad recently.
Lemon cake is also nice, I actually do quite a mean lemon drizzle cake ^_^ but I'm not big on carrot cake, it's too veggie for me
The aesthetic of the building and surroundings is so nice.
Everything on the table looks “takeaway”, I am sure the cake tasted so nice. Hehe your waistline would be fine haha.
The coffee is just so automatically pleasing, I just want to leave it like that, you know, not drink it, just stare at it every morning, haha.
Cool place. Top notch.
You can see that the place is very elegant, it is beautifully decorated, the most important thing is that the people there make the customers feel welcome. Very good review.☕
Thanks for sharing.
Good day.
Their food and coffee presentation is very elegant. Thank you for sharing. Greetings 😊
Beautiful place but more tea room than coffee shop in my eyes. The style is very reminiscent of Art Deco with overtones of 'Betty's Tea rooms or even the original Harry Ramsden's if you ever went there? This is why I love European cities though. They always seem to have a proliferation of beautiful cafes to choose from.
Hope the weekend is going well and Storm Ciaran didn't give you too hard a time!
Ciaran was good to us thanks, many other parts of the country took the brunt.
You coming back for Christmas this year?
Oh yes. Can't wait. Flying 17th December. I'm going stir crazy on this island tbh. Sadly only for two weeks though :-(
You'll still be able to spend Christmas with your mum, I'm sure she'll be very happy
She will at first lol ;-)
Hello, @livinguktaiwan
It's good that they look welcoming to your arrival. In fact, I also often feel uncomfortable when I come to a classy place and the waiter just looks at me like I can't afford my meal just because I'm not wearing nice pants and shoes. I prefer to wear comfortable shorts, with my favorite sandals even if I enter a luxurious place. For me, I just want to enjoy food, not show my fashion style.
The cafe design looks very classy elegance. Also classic. I love how they combined their floor motif and roof design. it looks harmonious with each other.
I've never heard of 3D coffee in my living area. I'm curious about that.
The cakes in the cafe look delicious. It's normal I thought that the price is expensive in my opinion. perhaps also because they are located in strategic areas.
Greetings from Indonesia

What a beautiful, classy, and elegant cafe. I wanna taste that chocolate horn with nuts, that looked nice... Love the coffee art as well...
This is such a tasty looking coffee. Cafe Bristol may be on the high side but one look at the beautiful print on the coffee and those mouth watering cakes, I'm sold. Definitely a place to visit. Glad you had good customer service too.
This looks great. It's not just how it looks, it's also how it tastes, and I'm glad it passed the class in that regard. I need to go to a cafe that does 3D coffee printing.
It is a beautiful place and the way the table is served, plus the presentation of the coffee, looks like a dream. I love this publication.
Those desserts look sooooo sinful!
I sense an expensive cup of coffee!!!!
All those exercises you are doing, shudda gone for major cake intake.
Coffee with 3D printed image? Wow, how cool one can also choose its own image.
Imagine a cup of coffee, with the Hive logo printed on it 😇
This is tempting, everything here is tempting. I think you made the right choice and so did your husband. No matter what you both chose 🤣 everything would be fine hahahahaha.... I've gotten drunk on such sweet elegance. Can't you see I'm repetitive?
😁 I'll go. I already have a route planned: Denver, Colorado and then Warsaw.
What a nice 3D printing.
So I had to go and dig around on the internet of amazing things after reading this. (I'm supposed to be writing so 😬 - but coffee. And pastries. And Art! 💥)
Look what I found 👇
This is amazing! Imagine the possibilities :)
Thanks for sharing this.
Okay... back to writing. Must focus no...oh look...
