Make Dholki setup with me!

Hello guys, I hope you all are doing well.

Autumn comes with so many wedding events, my friend is also getting married in some days and the wedding events are just started untill the main event comes.

Dholki event:

Today I will be sharing with you guys about the diy decor which I did for her very first event, “dholki event”. It is a cultural event for which a dholki is arranged and girls sing songs with it.

Lets begin with step bt step procedure about how I did it.

Procedure:

Firstly I made the slogan banners, for that purpose I took the glaze paper and cardboard piece.

Then I cut the paper so that it could cover the cardboard completely.

Then I started covering it up abd securing it down with tape.
Firstly I turned the edge and secured it with tape.

Then, I folded the paper to cover the cardboard and secured it with the tape too.

After doing this I folded the edges too and secured them with the tape.

Now it was fully covered and this is how it turned out.

By using the same technique, I made other ones in different colors too.

Also I made a multi colored too, for that purpose I used 3 of the sheets and wrapped them around the cardboard using the same technique mentioned above.

And this is how it turned out.

After preparing these, I cut out an irregular shapped patterns from the paper and sticked them to each of the prepared cardboards.

And this how they turned out after sticking them.

And then finally I wrote different slogans on them, which were suitable according to the event and they turned out beautiful.

After being done with this task I had to prepare for mini dholkis.

For this purpose I took the ice cream cups.

And then I applied the glue to the tips of one cup and sticked the other cup to it.

By sticking them, they were actually giving the look of dholki, I then made multiple of these.

Then I starting covering each dholki by applying the glaze paper to it.

I left some space uncovered, purposely.
And to fill that, I cut the piece of fomic sheet and wrapped it around the edges of the dholki.

Then I cut another colored strip from it and done the same.

And then finally I added some little pieces of fomic sheet to decorate it more and this was the final look of it.

I made multiple of these in different designs by mizing and merging the colors.

This is the whole bunch of them.

And then finally I decorated these items to the main event. For this I placed these dholkis on the large plate shaped basket and then used two sticks and using the tape I sticked the slogans on them and placed them behind the dholkis.

This is the whole look, I also added some lights and artificial flowers on the back.

It all was well put together, I hope you guys liked the final look of it. My friend liked it so much and her event went so beautifully.

Anyways guys this is it for today’s blog. I hope you guys liked and maybe can use the idea for your related events too.

See ya’all in the next one. 👋
