When a subtle SUNSET turns EPIC! 🌄 ~ 7 November 2024

HI ALL 👋🏻😊

While driving back from grocery shopping 🛒 a few days ago. I found myself surrounded by the most #EPIC #SUNSET I have seen so far in my new country of residence. I almost was thinking my “late father” was saying “hi 👋🏻” on his #birthday day…. It has been over 11 years already that he passed. Sometimes moments like this bring back many #memories… Let me take you along today on what I saw ☺️

I will follow the time stamps on them. So it looks like you are experiencing my #adventures on this #day, to 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 #discover everything what I saw, like the little #details seen through my eyes.

It started with a very subtle #sunset 🌄 at 14:56h on this Thursday. Yes… the #sun goes under very #early here and will do so earlier and earlier in the next weeks.
Driving to the grocery store means for me… driving just over 1 hour to there. Along the way the #landscape changed from #snow ☃️ to no snow… to snow again. The roads were frozen 🥶 in places, but not to much luckily 😊

Not many other cars on the road… I like the subtle pinks in the #sky.

Catching the #reflections in the #lake through the trees 🌲 It is almost to faint to see, but look closely. Parts of the lake are frozen too.

As the roads are wet from the snow, as the sun defrosted it… I can see the sky’s reflections here and there. 🥰 Just stunning.

The SUNSET is turning more pinker and more purple around us.
The road seems long… we pass by many forests and mountains.

At 15:08h I see bright yellows in the side mirror 🪞 behind us.
The sunset is also reflecting onto the car 🚗

A little while later at 15:16h the sky changed… I SEE ORANGE, YELLOW AND RED APPEARING 🌄 in front of me 🤩 WOW WHAT A CHANGE!

The sun is bright in the middle ☀️🌄

I like the silhouettes of the trees 🌲 🌲 🌲

Just look at the sky 🤩😎 it is awesome!

Every turn in the road changes it all up… it is getting darker too.
The sun sets very fast now. It is 15:17h

Driving through #valleys… we see a bit more of this epic sunset 🌄

Everything is turning red around us… the clouds are reflecting the sun ☀️ I love this SUNSET.

It looks like we are driving right at it 😊 even the hood of the car is joining in and reflecting this sunset.

Closer to home we see more snow again ☃️

The road is still long before we are home… this last photo I show you today was taken at 15:20h, it doesn’t take long now before it is fully dark. Not much later the sunset was gone… and everything was pitch black around me. No streetlights up here. Just me and #nature 🥰 as it should be.
