Now I can pull the living room, dining room and kitchen together in one look. So it looks in harmony when I am finished.
As the dining room has been (really badly) painted by previous owners, see photo, I will paint (a very light grey - winter grey) in all of the rooms the same colour on the floors. Except… I make in the kitchen a checkered theme. With a darker and the light grey.
Just look at this mess… some people have no idea what to do. It looks like they walked with the winter spikes under the shoes over it. I have to still fix a lot. The floor is badly damaged in the dining room.

Wow! I can see you still have a lot to do! As you say...it boggles your mind trying to think what people did when you see what thy leave behind for you to fix...
