☀️🌳 Hiking trail along the SKELLEFTEÄLVEN / RIVER, OVER THE DAM and back along the other side in SKELLEFTEÅ SWEDEN 🇸🇪 photos and video 🎥

Join me today on this #walk along a #hiking #trail. 😁 It guides us on a path next to a large… really #wide river to the #dam, which we cross… and all the way back along the other #riverside. This large #river is SKELLEFTEÄLVEN and goes through the city of SKELLEFTEÅ in VÄSTERBOTTEN COUNTY #SWEDEN 🇸🇪
I WALKED THIS TRAIL IN THE HEIGHT OF #SUMMER ON A BEAUTIFUL SUNNY ☀️ DAY 😊 Come along… and walk with me. I let you also HEAR the river’s flow. Curious, check out my video 🎥 below.

I will follow the time stamps on them. So it looks like you are experiencing my #adventures on this #walk to 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 #discover everything what I saw, like the little #details seen through my eyes.

The trail we #walked you find on the following screenshot from google maps, I marked it in yellow 💛:

We parked our car 🚗 behind the big Skellefteå landsförsamlings KYRKA, the large Skelleftea church ⛪️ it is on the end of the city / town.
After we got out we walk down towards the river.
Did you put on your hiking 🥾 shoes?…
Ok, here we go 😊

The path and trail is well maintained and we walk along rows of birch trees 🌳

Next to us we see a large #pond.

We walk further… the further we go the further we get away from the little city, actually a large town… of Skellefteå. Just nature around us and the sound of a few birds.

After a while we hear the sound of fast running water 💦 we check it out 😁

There is a bridge we stand on it and look to the right.

Our view further along the river.

Beautiful all the trees surrounding us with leaves… I miss them right now hahaha 🤣 it is still very snowy. But let’s not divert and go back to this summer’s day ☀️🌳

We look over the edge on the left side… the water runs fast and it is very loud.

I take a step back and #capture this #photograph 📸

‼️Have a look at my #VIDEO here and HEAR the sound of the powerful water going through the sluice gate. The view extends towards the river 👇🏻

It is a small side river that goes FAST into the large SKELLEFTEA RIVER. The sound was awesome 🤓

Here you see where it runs into the LARGE RIVER.

A gentleman cycled over the bridge as I walked lower down to capture the #bridge better.

Our view further to the left… 🥰

Come, let’s walk a bit more. We still have a while to go 😊

At a spot we can go down next to the trail towards the river I take these captures to show you how large the river is.

Believe me it is HUGE 😳 Maybe you remember this river in Skellefteå from my frozen views (posts) when we walk through the city’s park.

We walk further. The path is higher than the rivers edge now. It goes very steep down, let’s not go down here.

We cross another little bridge.

We look on each side and see these beautiful rocks 🪨 in it.

Not much further we reach the #DAM. We are going to cross it.

On the other side of the river we have more forest 🌳 around us. So beautiful.
Lucky people that live in this town, they have a walk like this on their doorstep 🥰 I would go a lot hahaha 🤣

We see suddenly a large mushroom 🍄‍🟫

It is standing tall between this vegetation. It looks rather alien like.

We walk further and suddenly half way the other side of the river. We see the bridge we took the video at. 😎

See 😁 we are now on the other side of the large river.

As we walk further I see a little spring that disappears into the ground. I point it out to you.

We look closer at it 😊

After more walking… we reach a large bridge. There is a traffic light that lets the cars over in only one lane. So be careful to walk along it. 😎

We look over the edge on one side…

… and the other side.

Soon we reached the side of the river we started at and return to our cars. We say… bye bye… until next time.
