FungiFriday ~ a cluster of mushrooms in the back garden 🍄‍🟫

Hi all 👋🏻

I want to share today with you what else I found in the back garden a few weeks ago after lots of rain 🌧️
This cluster of mushrooms 🍄‍🟫 just under the big tree were I have the bird feeders in. They looked so cute. Some tall and some still tiny mushrooms growing…

Little update: I am back home since Wednesday from our “just get from A to B trip what was an over 3000km drive in 5 days and now faster back trip” it was 2 longgggg days of traveling on 🚗🚂✈️🚂🚗 (in that order) everything was delayed….🫣 but luckily we did make it for the next part of the trip each time. Our Irish car is gone now 👋🏻👋🏻 and we have this month a rental car 🚗… (in the height of summer holidays what isn’t funny cost wise 😣) we have to look in the coming weeks for a run around here 🚗🚗🚗 let’s see what we find. As we do need a car… as the next city is 1 hour drive away for shopping groceries 🛒

It has been #raining and rather cold since we are back. Bbbrrrrr lots of layers needed. It surely doesn’t feel like #summer 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️🌬️☔️
I saw already some yellow and red leaves 🍁 on the ground… could #autumn already have started 😳 ….. nooooooo! We skipped spring already, now summer too…. 😕 I hope not….

But…

Let’s look closer at what I found :

It is just like the tall one is protecting the smaller mushroom 😎

Seen from the top we see the cap has some orange in the middle.

Its cap is opening to allow some light for the tiny one.

Or just space to grow 😁

At their bottom we see more really small mushrooms appearing.

Capture further away. Protected well by the grass and weeds.

Capture from the side, you can see the long thin stem well. The smaller one is almost hidden….
