FungiFriday ~ a cluster of beautiful Mushrooms 🍄‍🟫 up against a tree 🌲

Hi all 👋🏻 😊

While wandering along a very large river exploring new trails and forests last August, I found this beautiful cluster of MUSHROOMS. 🍄‍🟫 They were growing up against the tree base, spread out like a ribbon hugging 🤗 it 🌲🌳 Come and have a look at them with me.

It’s fun, come along…

The 10 mushroom photos are taken with my phone 😎 on 19 August 2024 during a long hike in the forest 🌳 exploring new paths.

Let’s have a look at these beautiful mushrooms.

While walking I saw them already in the distance 😊 do you too?

Coming closer… we see the tree has snapped off. The mushrooms are at the base of the stump that remains. 🌲🌲🌲

I get in very close… to take some photos. We see the mushrooms are rather small and now the details become clearer. The mushrooms are standing between #fascinating other growths that is also taking over the #tree stump.

Some lone #warrior mushrooms are crawling slowly up the tree 🌲 spreading higher…

… and higher up. Hahaha 😂

I take a few closeups from above. Their colour is warm.

So close together… at the base the mushrooms are darker.

Showing you a little cluster from the side 😊

Some other ones that are higher up. Reaching for sunshine ☀️

This was a very interesting cluster of mushrooms. Helping nature clean up the forest. 😊🌲
