Hi all 👋🏻

Let’s start today with one of my best finds in the beautiful town of LJUSDAL. It is a diptych and it looks so painterly…. Just stunning in every way it makes me happy to show you. I present to you the artist HELEN BUR. An amazing artist in every way. I found one of her murals before in Spain. So it was great to find her here in Sweden too while on a road trip abroad. 😁

This work is large… I love the #muted… #earthy colours 😊

Getting closer by we see the girl better. Playing with the hoop.

The colours do fit the building very well. What do you think?

Very cool mural 👍 judging by some of the details like black leggings I think this is a modern scene but it really made me think of old American paintings of kids playing in country schoolyards.
This kind of stuff. I think the overalls and playing with a hoop took me there.

I don't know how you find them! That is 'proper' fine art and the muted colours absolutely blend in with the urban environment.
Word of the day is 'diptych' which has sent me scurrying for Google!

I just love art and somehow wherever I travel. I look out for signs of murals. I have painted some myself too in the past. Will have to start one day again. 🎨
