☃️ BIRDS IN THE SNOW at my CABIN ❄️ ~ VIDEO 🎥 and PHOTOS 📸 November 2024

Hi all 👋🏻😊

There were so many WINTER #BIRDS AT MY #CABIN ☃️❄️ during the last days… I wanted to show you some of these birds today. I love that they visit at my own #WINTER #WONDERLAND**
The photographs are from the end of last week during this magical and snowy NOVEMBER 2024 ☃️❄️

Today’s selection will be of 10 PHOTOGRAPHS and 1 VIDEO 🎥
Dates are: the 21, 22 and 23 of November 2024.

I went silently outside in the cold 🥶 on these days.
Above’s photo and the photo below are from last Thursday during the morning and the afternoon.
We see lots of bullfinches… the red birds in the photos are the males.

On Friday morning the birds returned again after leaving at sunset around 1400h each day 😊 They don’t have a large window to feed these days as we only have 5 hours of daylight… it will reduce even more.
I love watching the birds as you must know by now.

I was standing after lunch next to the tree to capture some of the birds better. They are used to me now after months of living here.

Little birds pick up spilled nuts and sunflower 🌻 seeds.

Not much later it started to snow ❄️ rather heavily again 🌨️
I stayed out a little bit longer to capture our winter visitors in the SNOW ⛄️
The snowflakes are light and large… my favourite photo of today 👇🏻

Saturday around #Sunset I was outside again 🥰 to capture more of the #birds.

The great tits are here every day too. I Love their yellow bellies that stand out so much in the snow now 😊

I capture a few more #greattits… this one is on the feeder.

Some are more shy and wait for me to go inside again… hahaha

I captured a #VIDEO too, while I was standing next to the tree. In the falling snowflakes ❄️
You see all the birds and hear their little wings 🪽 and tweeting sounds, so put up the volume 😎

You have a great variety of bird species in your yard, they are really beautiful, in Cuba many birds are arriving due to the winter migration. All from North America. Greetings

These species are here to stay, even with meters of snow to come. The migratory species are already flown south to warmer areas for a few months now.

Fun shots at the feeder 👍 I like seeing different birds from different parts of the world. We get mostly gold finch, chickadees, sparrows. Plus a some larger birds like cardinals and blue jays.

I find it relaxing watching birds go about their business of being birds. My bird feeder needs to be replaced it has in use so long and had fallen a few times since.

Me too, I sit in the morning at the kitchen table… drinking a coffee or tea… watching the birds while I am on-line, doing hive.
Love the little birds here.
Sounds like the feeder does need some tlc or replacement.

I so am @jacoalberts 😊 fully every waking moment.

Good to hear all is well. We are too(ish) I have some health problems lately but rest should help.
Hubby still hasn’t found a job… way over 1,5 years now. We keep going though 😊 all will be fine.

It's not good good to hear about your health problems. As you say though, rest is often some of the best treatments/medicine we can get! So try to get as much as you can.

Sorry to hear about your hubby being without a job for so long. I'm glad to hear you keep going though! It can be tough, but never give up! I know, I speak from experience!

Yes, I do agree! Time is going wayyyy to fast. I can't believe it's December already!

Thank you, I will rest as much as I can. Although I am renovating parts of the cabin… I do it slowly… every day just a little bit.

We won’t give up and are figuring out what we can do our selves.

I remember the beginning of the year so vividly but now… it is December. It goes a bit to fast for me.

Thank you Joe… it is wonderful to just sit and observe them. Now it is too cold to sit outside so I do behind the window… mostly. When I am not drawn outside, as the snow is just breathtaking.
