I have a copy of that book. It's excellent because it touches on the overarching ideas in myths from a narrative perspective. It makes sense that as humans we share certain traits that lead to common archetypal experiences. Few have ventured into these territories from a scientific perspective. Carl Jung and Freud are examples of researchers who approached myth from a scholarly perspective, but very few researchers exist in modern times that have tried to explain the myths using the modern language of neurobiology. Thankfully, fiction is rather flexible and more fun! :D
