Olá pessoal! Hoje vou falar do segundo dia da minha viagem de natal! Acompanhando esse post vocês vão saber como foi minha vespera de Natal em familia e conhecer um pouco de Unamar, um bairro do segundo distrito de Cabo Frio, região dos lagos do Rio de Janeiro - Brasil.

Como vocês já sabem a viagem começou dia 23 e vamos ficar aqui até o dia 26 quando voltaremos para casa.

Então vamos ao que interessa...

Turistando

Hoje já estávamos mais descansados da viagem então aproveitei pra alem de fazer as refeições em família, conhecer um pouco da cidade. Meu dia começou cedo as 8:30AM com o pessoal da casa arrumando o café da manhã. Mesmo tendo ido dormir por volta das 4:00AM foi impossível permanecer dormindo depois que todos acordaram, como eu falei no post anterior tinham 10 pessoas na casa e o movimento acabou me acordando também.

Após tomar café com todos eles aproveitei que o tio Everton iria sair pra comprar galão de agua mineral e fui junto pra conhecer um pouco da cidade. Como a maior parte da região dos lagos o bairro se resume a uma rua principal com os comércios maiores, de um lado temos a praia e do outro as áreas residenciais, condomínios, igrejas e pequenos comércios.

Na volta de comprar o galão de agua passamos na Igreja pra saber que horas seriam a missa e esse foi o primeiro lugar que conheci da cidade e tirei a foto abaixo.

Após ver o horário da missa voltamos para casa e fomos almoçar. No almoço juntamos de novo as 2 casas e ficou a família toda junta, conversamos e depois do almoço uma parte do grupo decidiu ir pra praia.

Após muita conversa pra decidir se iriam na praia mais próxima ou outra um pouco mais longe decidiu que iriamos na que era um pouco mais longe porque lá a agua é mais calma e dava pra entrar no mar. Eu não sou muito fã de pegar sol, minha pele começa a ficar inflamada se pegar de mais e costumo ter insolação muito fácil com poucos minutos no sol forte, por sorte o tempo começou a ficar um pouco mais nublado e durante o tempo que estávamos lá chegou até a chover e foi otimo. Como fiquei mais isolado me escondendo do sol acabei não saindo em nenhuma das fotos na praia.

Após a praia voltei cansado e depois de tomar um banho dormi um pouco até quase a hora de me arrumar pra ceia e assim acabou meu dia de turista. Mas ainda tinha muita coisa pra curtir em familia!

A Ceia

Embora o café da manhã, almoço e as outras refeições terem todas sido feitas na casa, a ceia foi encomendada e comprada. Não sei que horas foram buscar porque foi enquanto eu estava dormindo, mas quando acordei por volta das 20horas a mesa já estava pronta, porem não podíamos pegar nada até o inicio da ceia o que foi uma real tortura não só pra mim, mas pra muitos de nós...rs

Após estar tudo pronto e a mesa servida a Suely nossa anfitriã fez um brinde e agradecimento e em seguida o Everton fez uma oração em nome do espírito natalino e mais uma vez agradecendo por todos estarmos reunidos e com saúde.

Após isso, por volta das 23h a mesa foi liberada, mas não antes sem tiramos fotos de tudo!

Troca de presentes

Na família da Tamara existe uma tradição de colocar todos os presentes na arvore e cada vez uma pessoa levante e escolhe um presente qualquer e lê pra quem é aquele presente e quem foi que comprou e depois outra pessoa vai e faz o mesmo e assim por diante até acabarem os presentes. Dessa forma todos recebem presentes e aqueles que não tem condições de comprar pra também participa da brincadeira sem se preocupar em não ter conseguido comprar muitos presentes.

É bem divertido e sempre com muitas brincadeiras e zoação. Dessa parte eu não tirei foto porque a essa altura meu celular já estava sem bateria e acabei não carregando. Até poderia esperar pra pegar com alguém mas como quero fazer um diário da viagem e a brincadeira já terminou muito tarde preferi fazer mesmo sem fotos dessa parte.

Após as trocas de presentes muitos já estavam exaustos e dormindo sentados, então fomos nos organizando para dividirmos o grupo entre as 2 casas novamente e irmos descansar pra amanhã. Hoje ficamos na casa da outra tia da Tamara, a Claudia, por questões de organização e espaço pra todos ficarem mais confortáveis, e depois de chegarmos na casa todos foram dormir e eu vim escrever pra vocês. :)

Conclusão

Assim foi nosso segundo dia de viagem, amanhã é nosso ultimo dia completo por aqui já que depois de amanhã não devemos ficar o dia inteiro aqui e já estaremos voltando. Foi um dia muito divertido!

Sightseeing

Today we were more rested from the trip so I took the opportunity to get to know the city, as well as having family meals. My day started early, at 8:30AM, with the household staff preparing breakfast. Even though I went to bed around 4:00AM, it was impossible to stay asleep after everyone woke up. As I said in the previous post, there were 10 people in the house and the movement woke me up too.

After having breakfast with everyone, I took advantage of the fact that Uncle Everton was going out to buy a gallon of mineral water and went along to see a bit of the city. Like most of the lakes region, the neighborhood boils down to one main street with the biggest shops, on one side the beach and on the other the residential areas, condominiums, churches and small businesses.

On our way back from buying a gallon of water, we stopped by the church to find out what time mass was. This was the first place I saw in the town and I took the photo below.

After checking the time of Mass, we went back home and had lunch. At lunchtime we joined the two houses again and the whole family got together, we chatted and after lunch part of the group decided to go to the beach.

After a lot of discussion about whether to go to the nearest beach or one a little further away, they decided that we would go to the one that was a little further away because the water there was calmer and it was possible to get into the sea. I'm not a big fan of sunbathing, my skin gets inflamed if I sunbathe too much and I tend to get sunstroke very easily after just a few minutes in the strong sun. Luckily, the weather started to get a little cloudier and during the time we were there it even rained, which was great. As I was more isolated, hiding from the sun, I ended up not being in any of the photos on the beach.

After the beach I came back tired and after a shower I slept for a while until it was almost time to get ready for supper and that was the end of my day as a tourist. But there was still plenty to do with the family!

The Christmas Dinner

Although breakfast, lunch and other meals were all made in-house, christmas dinner was ordered and bought. I don't know what time they picked it up because it was while I was asleep, but when I woke up around 8pm the table was ready, but we couldn't pick anything up until supper started, which was a real torture not just for me, but for many of us...lol

After everything was ready and the table served, our hostess Suely made a toast and thanked us, and then Everton said a prayer in the name of the Christmas spirit and once again thanked us for all being together and in good health.

After that, around 11pm, the table was cleared, but not before we had taken photos of everything!

Exchanging presents

In Tamara's family there's a tradition of putting all the presents on the tree and each time one person gets up and chooses a present and reads who it's for and who bought it, then another person goes and does the same and so on until all the presents are gone. This way, everyone gets presents and those who can't afford to buy them also take part in the game without worrying that they haven't managed to buy many presents.

It's a lot of fun and there's always a lot of joking around. I didn't take a photo of this part because by then my cell phone had run out of battery and I didn't charge it. I could have waited to take it with someone, but as I want to keep a diary of the trip and the fun was over very late, I preferred to do it without any photos of this part.

After exchanging gifts, many were already exhausted and sleeping sitting up, so we organized ourselves to split the group between the two houses again and go to rest for tomorrow. Today we stayed at the house of Tamara's other aunt, Claudia, for reasons of organization and space for everyone to be more comfortable, and after arriving at the house everyone went to sleep and I came to write to you. :)

Conclusion

So that was our second day on the road, tomorrow is our last full day here as after tomorrow we shouldn't be here all day and we'll be heading back. It was a really fun day!
