El lunes pasado acogimos en el hogar a este maravilloso ser de luz que necesitaba un hogar. Mi esposo y yo hemos querido adoptar a un cachorro por un tiempo ya y cuando la vi esos ojitos llenos de amor, supe que teníamos que adoptarla. Le pusimos Cremita por su color crema y es tan pacífica, hermosa e inteligente que no entiendo cómo los dueños anteriores la maltrataban e incluso botaron de la casa. Supongo que a algunas personas realmente no les los perros, pero... ahí está mi duda: si no le gustan los perros, ¿por qué tener uno?

Como sea, la tenemos hace pocos días, pero ya se está adaptando perfectamente al hogar y a nosotros. Al inicio, cada vez que escuchaba un ruido o nos veía movernos por toda la casa, se escondía y huía. It is beautiful to see her face and even more beautiful to see how comfortable she is getting with us.

Aún tenemos que dedicarle mucha atención, pues parece que no solo la maltrataban físicamente, sino que tampoco la alimentaban ni la protegían de garrapatas y pulgas. A demás, está muy flaquita y hasta anémica. Pero con amor y comida no hay nada que no se cure.

A penas lleva pocos días con nosotros y ya nos tiene llenos de amor. Cremita puede estar tranquila, pues le aseguro que en su vida ya no existirán más maltratos, ni hambrunas, ni martirios. Le esperan días de alegría, paz, y tranquilidad en un hogar pequeño, pero lleno de amor.
