A busy day and a visit to the vet with Pupy

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day full of light, energy, and peace. Today I want to share a snippet of these days, which have been intense, sweet... and also filled with many emotions.
Yesterday was a long day, one of those days when work never lets up. Between orders and errands, the star of Chocolates Alile was the 16 chocolates offer, which seems to have won over the palates of several customers. A sweet and charming offering that has been wonderfully received. Nothing like a good chocolate to warm the heart and bring smiles!

Espero que estén teniendo un día maravilloso lleno de luz, energía y paz. Hoy quiero compartir un pequeño adelanto de estos días, que han sido intensos, dulces... y también llenos de muchas emociones.
Ayer fue un día largo, uno de esos días en los que el trabajo nunca da tregua. Entre pedidos y recados, la estrella de Chocolates Alile fue la oferta de 16 chocolates, que parece haber conquistado el paladar de varios clientes. Una oferta dulce y encantadora que ha tenido una acogida maravillosa. ¡Nada como un buen chocolate para alegrar el corazón y arrancar sonrisas!
As the aroma of hot chocolate filled my workspace, a shadow of worry silently followed me. My dog, Pupy, my pet and faithful companion, had been sick for several days. His mood was low, he was vomiting, he wasn't eating... and this made me deeply sad and anxious. We decided to take him back to the vet for an evaluation.
A visit to the doctor is always an adventure with Pupy. We live in the Plaza de la Revolución municipality, and on the way to the Playa municipality, he's usually calm, looking around with his characteristic curious gaze. This time, although weaker, he was still staring out the window.
Mientras el aroma a chocolate caliente llenaba mi espacio de trabajo, una sombra de preocupación me seguía silenciosamente. Mi perro, Pupy, mi mascota y fiel compañero, llevaba varios días enfermo. Estaba decaído, vomitaba, no comía... y esto me ponía profundamente triste y ansiosa. Decidimos llevarlo de nuevo al veterinario para que lo evaluara.
La visita al médico siempre es una aventura con Pupy. Vivimos en el municipio Plaza de la Revolución y de camino al municipio Playa, suele estar tranquilo, mirando a su alrededor con esa mirada curiosa que lo caracteriza. Esta vez, aunque más débil, seguía mirando por la ventana.
And on that journey, we crossed the Almendares Bridge, a structure of great importance to my city, as it connects two of Havana's most important residential areas. Years ago, before the bridge existed, traveling from one area to the other required skirting a large part of the city, which would take hours. Now, thanks to this road, that journey is reduced to just 10 minutes.
From above, you can see the river of the same name, surrounded by lush vegetation that seems to embrace its calm waters. It's a sight that always moves me, but that particular day it was a moment of peace amidst my worries. As if nature were giving us a pause to breathe and reconnect with calm. Pupy, curious despite his discomfort, raised his head and stared at the river, silently, with that tenderness that only animals can convey.
Y en ese viaje, cruzamos el Puente Almendares, una estructura de gran importancia para mi ciudad, ya que conecta dos de las zonas residenciales más importantes de La Habana. Años atrás, antes de que existiera el puente, viajar de una zona a otra requería rodear gran parte de la ciudad, lo que tomaba horas. Ahora, gracias a esta carretera, ese trayecto se reduce a tan solo 10 minutos.
Desde arriba, se puede ver el río del mismo nombre, rodeado de una exuberante vegetación que parece abrazar sus tranquilas aguas. Es una vista que siempre me conmueve, pero ese día en particular fue un momento de paz en medio de mis preocupaciones. Como si la naturaleza nos diera un respiro para respirar y reconectar con la calma. Pupy, curioso a pesar de su incomodidad, levantó la cabeza y contempló el río, en silencio, con esa ternura que solo los animales pueden transmitir.
When he arrived at the doctor's office, his usual nervousness had been replaced by weakness. He was trembling a little, but without strength. The doctor gently examined him and determined he had a gastric problem. I was filled with anxiety: Pupy is a big eater, and he had barely eaten anything for three days. He received vitamins, ranitidine, and we began treatment with omeprazole before each meal.
I know that a visit to the vet is never easy for him, but it's necessary. I carefully monitor his vaccinations, checkups, and, above all, his emotional well-being.
Cuando llegó a la consulta, su nerviosismo habitual había dado paso a la debilidad. Temblaba un poco, pero sin fuerzas. El médico lo examinó con delicadeza y determinó que tenía un problema gástrico. Me llené de ansiedad: Pupy come mucho y apenas había comido en tres días. Recibió vitaminas, ranitidina y comenzamos un tratamiento con omeprazol antes de cada comida.
Sé que una visita al veterinario nunca es fácil para él, pero es necesaria. Superviso atentamente sus vacunas, revisiones y, sobre todo, su bienestar emocional.
Hope led us back home… and to my immense joy, it began to bear fruit. Puppy regained his spirits, came out from under my bed, wandered around the house again, and demanded his daily outings. It was as if the world was smiling at him again, and he was giving me his usual joy and energy.
This little everyday story is full of love, tenderness… and the power of simple gestures. Because when a chocolate sweetens the day and a Puppy recovers, life feels lighter and brighter.
La esperanza nos trajo de vuelta a casa… y para mi inmensa alegría, empezó a dar frutos. Puppy recuperó el ánimo, salió de debajo de mi cama, volvió a pasear por la casa y exigió sus salidas diarias. Era como si el mundo le sonriera de nuevo y él me regalara su alegría y energía de siempre.
Esta pequeña historia cotidiana está llena de amor, ternura… y del poder de los gestos sencillos. Porque cuando un chocolate endulza el día y Puppy se recupera, la vida se siente más ligera y brillante.

Que contento se ve a Pupy en su visita al veterinario, espero que se recupere con el tratamiento, hay que estar pendiente de las mascotas y ellos lo agradecen.
No creas le tiene terror jaja pero nada , el debe cumplir su rutina medica y cada vez que se sienta mal el veterinario tiene la última palabra jjj
