Today I want to show you all about interesting findings in the wild, my findings this time can be considered special because they are truly unique and rare, and it seems that since I joined this community, this is the first time I have found and shared findings like this, are you curious?

At first glance, this looks like a stinging wasp nest, but that's wrong, these are "Tenodera sinensis" eggs or in our language are popularly known as "Chinese praying mantis eggs", I found these eggs attached to one of the weeds growing on an abandoned soccer field, and honestly I was a bit surprised when I first saw it and I also thought that this was a wasp nest, but I observed it carefully and finally I found many striking differences

Initially, Tenodera sinensis was one of the largest grasshopper species originating from East Asia and has now spread to several countries including our country Indonesia. Tenodera sinensis is also known as a very active and effective predator. Tenodera sinensis often hunts other insects of various sizes but sometimes they also prey on each other, their role in the ecosystem is very important because of their existence and reducing the number of insect populations that can damage cultivated plants such as corn, rice, soybeans and others.
