For The Round Pegs

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes."

"The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo."

"You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire."

They push the human race forward. Maybe they have to be crazy. How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written? Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?"

"We make tools for these kinds of people. While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
-Steve Jobs (probably)

Exactly how I see it! The errants break pattern, cause a disturbance in the field and things happen.

Speech: “All the world’s a stage”
By William Shakespeare

(from As You Like It, spoken by Jaques)
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms;
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lin’d,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper’d pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well sav’d, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
We like to call it freedom
Or art! :D

You reminded me of the man playing the piano in Wayne Dyer’s film, The Shift. It’s on YouTube. I watched it just recently – just a short while ago, really. A few hours ago, I’d say.
Thanks for the heads up.
If there is music involved I would watch.
