Wrestling Organization Online: My First Experience in Beta Version + 15 WOO Alpha packs opened!
Blockchain-based games are one of my passions and in particular I am very focused on Hive games because Hive is my favorite blockchain project.
The number of games that are playable on Hive continues to grow and the number of games in development also continues to grow and this is a very positive aspect that shows how much the Hive blockchain is also evolving and expanding relative to the gaming area.
Although my free time is not much I will always try to play and support game projects built and developed on the Hive blockchain that I will evaluate as interesting.
Two days ago I was glad I found time to start playing in the Genesis League Goals Ranked System.

Today I started another gaming adventure on Wrestling Organization Online and in this post I share my initial gaming experience and first impressions.
Wrestling Organization Online, codenamed WOO is the project of a play-to-earn NFT-based managerial type Hive game that has entered the Beta development phase starting December 13, 2023.
The theme of the game is Wrestling and players, when the game will be playable, will be able to build their own Wrestling Organization by purchasing wrestlers, upgrading facilities, and competing with other players to earn the game's native WOO tokens.
WOO token rewards are not yet active but you can play to try the game and be ready when the rewards are activated.

My investment on WOO started more than a year ago, on July 8, 2022, when I purchased 30 WOOALPHA tokens = WOO Alpha packs on Hive Engine.
To purchase 30 WOO Alpha packs, I spent 51.37 SWAP.HIVE.
Then I also purchased 3 WOO Lands (3 WOOPARTSUN tokens) for which I spent 48 SWAP.HBD in total.
In one of my previous post I showed how to convert 1 WOOPARTSUN token into a NFT Land and also how to activate land upgrades.
But now I am curious to start playing and share my first experience of playing on WOO with my readers.
Today I went to https://play.wrestlingorganizationonline.com/play and did the login via Hive Keychain.
To play on Wrestling Organization Online you must purchase a license which costs $10.
I had intended to purchase the license in the pre-beta phase because it cost $5 but then I forgot to do it on time and so my forgetfulness cost me an extra $5 today.
So the first step I took today was to buy a license.
I clicked on Get Bookers License and then clicked on Buy Now via Hive Engine.
As a payment method, I chose SWAP.HIVE and spent 30,228 SWAP.HIVE
To play on WOO it is necessary to use wrestlers (NFTs) but there are no NFTs in my collection yet because I never opened my WOO Alpha packs.
Therefore, before clicking on Play I clicked on STORE and was redirected to the website: https://marketplace.wrestlingorganizationonline.com/land-sale
From WOO's STORE I clicked on the dice symbol and accessed the OPEN section: https://marketplace.wrestlingorganizationonline.com/open
To try out the game, I decided to open half of the packs in my possession: 15 WOO Alpha packs.
I clicked Open Multiple, then entered 15 in the Quantity field on the next screen and then clicked Open.
Maybe there was some technical problem today because I could not open 15 packs with the Open Multiple feature and tried twice.
I then tried to open a single pack, and this time the operation was performed.
I was also able to open 5 packs at the same time, and in the following image you can see the cards I found.
First feedback: If there is a maximum limit of packs that it is possible to open at the same time it should be indicated.
I then tried opening 9 more packs at once and again everything worked perfectly.
In 15 alpha packs I found:
- 1 Rare Gold Card: Paulie Savage - Type: Manager.
- 1 Regular Legendary Card: Ida Mae
- 3 epic regular cards
- 15 Rare Regular cards
- 55 Common Regular cards
I now have everything I need to play my first match:
- 1 licensed
- NFTs of wrestlers type
I went back to https://play.wrestlingorganizationonline.com/play and clicked on Play Match.
It was not easy to find an opponent to play my first match because I clicked at least 20 times on Play Match and out of 19 times I got the message Matchmaking Time Out.
Only on one occasion did I find a willing opponent who, however, abandoned the match before I chose my 4 Wrestlers to send to the ring.
WOO is in an early stage of play and there are not many active players yet but I think when the rewards will be active it will be much easier to find an opponent.
I will try to play my first game in the next few days because today it seems impossible to do so.
Even though I wasn't able to play my first match I still made some progress related to my one active land.
I went to COLLECTION -> LAND, placed the mouse pointer on the image of my land and clicked on Manage Land.
Then I clicked on Upgrade Land.
Then I activated all available upgrades for a total cost = 24290 WOO tokens
Some upgrades are immediate to complete while others take longer and longer as the level of upgrade increases.
I will continue to make all upgrades to bring my land to the highest level possible.
In today's post I shared my first experience in the Beta version of WOO.
In the coming days I will try out the other game features such as combination of cards and try again to find an opponent to play my first match.
Starting today a new gaming adventure has begun for me because I have added a new Hive game to my list of games in which I am an active player, a list that is starting to get very long but this means that Hive is getting bigger and bigger and I am very happy about that!

Oggi ho iniziato la mia avventura di gioco anche su Wrestling Organization Online e in questo post condivido la mia iniziale esperienza di gioco e le mie prime impressioni.
Wrestling Organization Online, nome in codice WOO è il progetto di un Hive game play-to-earn basato su NFT di tipo manageriale che dal 13 dicembre 2023 è entrato nella fase di sviluppo Beta.
Il tema del gioco è il Wrestling e i giocatori, quando il gioco sarà giocabile, potranno costruire la loro Wrestling Organization acquistando wrestlers, potenziando le strutture e gareggiando con gli altri giocatori per guadagnare i token nativi del gioco che sono i token WOO.
Le rewards in token WOO non sono ancora attive ma è possibile giocare per provare il gioco e per trovarsi pronti quando le rewards saranno attivate.

Oggi sono andato su https://play.wrestlingorganizationonline.com/play ed ho effettuato il login tramite Hive Keychain.

Dallo STORE di WOO ho cliccato sul simbolo dei dadi e ho avuto accesso alla sezione OPEN: https://marketplace.wrestlingorganizationonline.com/open
Per provare il gioco ho deciso di aprire la metà dei pacchi in mio possesso: 15 WOO Alpha packs.
Ho cliccato su Open Multiple, poi ho inserito 15 nel campo Quantity nella schermata successiva e poi ho cliccato su Open.
Forse oggi c'era qualche problema tecnico perchè non sono riuscito ad aprire 15 pacchi con la funzionalità Open Multiple e ho provato due volte.
Ho allora provato ad aprire un singolo pacco e questa volta l'operazione è stata eseguita.
Sono riuscito ad aprire anche 5 pacchi contemporaneamente e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le carte che ho trovato.
First feedback: Se c'è un limite massimo di pacchi che è possibile aprire contemporaneamente dovrebbe essere indicato.
Ho provato ad aprire altri 9 pacchi insieme e anche questa volta tutto ha funzionato alla perfezione.
In 15 pacchi alpha ho trovato:
- 1 Carta Rara Gold: Paulie Savage - Type: Manager
- 1 carta leggendaria Regular: Ida Mae
- 3 carte epiche regular
- 15 carte Rare Regular
- 55 carte Comuni Regular
Ho adesso tutto quello che mi serve per giocare il mio primo match:
- 1 licenza
- NFTs di tipo wrestlers
Sono tornato su https://play.wrestlingorganizationonline.com/play e ho cliccato su Play Match
Non è stato facile trovare un avversario per giocare il mio primo match perchè ho cliccato almeno 20 volte su Play Match e su 19 volte ho ricevuto il messaggio Matchmaking Time Out.
Solo in un'occasione ho trovato un avversario disponibile che però ha abbandonato la partita prima che io scegliessi i miei 4 Wrestlers da mandare sul ring.
WOO è in una fase iniziale di gioco e non ci sono ancora molti giocatori attivi ma penso che quando le ricompense saranno attive sarà molto più facile trovare un avversario.
Proverò a giocare la mia prima partita nei prossimi giorni perchè oggi mi sembra impossibile farlo.
Anche se non sono riuscito a giocare il mio primo match ho comunque fatto alcuni progressi relativi alla mia unica land attiva.
Sono andato su COLLECTION -> LAND, ho posizionato il puntatore del mouse sull'immagine della mia land e ho cliccato su Manage Land.
Poi ho cliccato su Upgrade Land
Poi ho attivato tutti gli upgrade disponibili per un costo totale = 24290 WOO tokens
Alcuni upgrade sono immediati mentre altri richiedono un tempo sempre più alto man mano che il livello di upgrade aumenta.
Continuerò ad effettuare tutti gli upgrades per portare la mia land al massimo livello possibile.
Nel post di oggi ho condiviso la mia prima esperienza nella versione Beta di WOO.
Nei prossimi giorni proverò le altre funzionalità di gioco come la combinazione delle carte e proverò nuovamente a trovare un avversario per giocare il mio primo match.
A partire da oggi è iniziata una nuova avventura di gioco per me perchè ho aggiunto un nuovo Hive game alla mia lista di giochi in cui sono un giocatore attivo, lista che incomincia a diventare molto lunga ma questo vuol dire che Hive sta diventando sempre più grande e sono molto contento di questo!

Io per ora mi sto limitando ad osservare: l'entusiasmo per questo gioco mi è calato molto nel tempo, complice forse uno sviluppo un po' troppo a rilento. Sui potenziamenti delle LAND inoltre non ho mai capito se ha senso portare tutto al massimo o meno: lo stadio di livello massimo, ad esempio, può ospitare molte più persone di quelle che vivono nelle città con 1 stella di popolazione, per cui immagino sia uno spreco costruire una arena così grande lì...

Concordo sulla lentezza nello sviluppo che ha fatto spegnere l'entusiasmo iniziale ma spero che ci sia una inversione di rotta. Io per il tuo stesso motivo ho ridotto l'ammontare dell'investimento che avevo pianificato all'inizio. Adesso aspetto di vedere gli sviluppi.

Infatti anch'io non so bene cosa fare: non credo che avrò il tempo (e probabilmente la voglia) di giocarlo, per cui è un po' che sto considerando di vendere carte e pacchetti per concentrarmi solo sulle Città, che dovrebbero consentire una gestione più "passiva" del gioco.
Un altro titolo, tra l'altro, dove ormai ho un po' perso tutte le speranze è Muterra... anche lì mi sembrano andare troppo, troppo lenti. E poi HoloZing rischia di essere un gioco troppo simile ma molto più seguito, cosa che potrebbe rendere ancora più difficile la vita a Muterra (che già non se la passa granché...).
Peccato che sia WOO che Muterra mi sa che non hanno dei marketplace molto attivi, per cui chissà se è anche solo possibile vendere in tempi ragionevoli i loro assets.

I haven't really bothered much with WOO but it looks like they got a lot of stuff in the works. The gameplay for token rewards isn't there but at least you can do things with your assets for now.
