STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
Hive is my favorite blockchain and Hive-based games are one of my passions.
Hive has so many utilities and is an ever-evolving dynamic ecosystem and in my opinion it is also a perfect blockchain for web3 applications and blockchain-based games because:
- it is very fast
- it has transaction costs = 0
- it has a beautiful and active community
A call to action organized by @coldbeetrootsoup to vote for Splinterlands on TheDappList is underway: Vote for Splinterlands on TheDappList and get Rewarded
Voting for a Hive-based app or for a Hive-based game on a site that lists apps developed on different blockchains can help promote not only the game/app but also Hive and that is why today I voted for Splinterlands, Holozing, Peakd, Ecency and for all the Hive-based apps that are votable on https://thedapplist.com/.
When I voted I noticed that on the home page of TheDappList the SEARCH HERE function does not work well and finding all Hive-based apps is not possible because this function searches only the dapps that received the most votes.
That's why I decided to write this step-by-step guide to ease the voting process for all my readers who, I hope, will want to support Hive by voting Hive-based apps on theDappList.
I will now show you the steps I took to vote.
Step 1: I went to https://thedapplist.com/ and clicked on Connect Wallet
It is possible to use many wallets but there are no options for Hive Wallets and that is why I chose to connect my Metamask Wallet.
You can choose to connect the wallet of your choice.
If you don't have a wallet present among the options you can choose you might find useful the video guide published by @alex-rourke to create a Trust Wallet on Mobile: How to create a Trust Wallet step by step
Step 2: then I clicked on MetaMask
Step 3: then I clicked Connect in the Metamask extension window in my browser and then clicked Confirm on the next screen.
Step 4: on thedapplist site I clicked on Complete Profile
Step 5: on the next screen I chose to enter only my username and I chose the same username I have on Hive to participate in the initiative organized by @coldbeetrootsoup.
To complete the task, I clicked on Save Information
Step 6: In the search field in the upper left corner, I entered the word splinterlands and then clicked on the Splinterlands box.

Step 7: To vote for Splinterlands I clicked on Upvote
Passo 8: Poi ho verificato il mio voto cliccando su Request Wallet Signature e ho autorizzato la signature request nel mio Metamask wallet.
Operation completed!
I voted for Splinterlands and my vote was 119th!
On TheDappList there are also other Hive-based apps that are voteable but if you search for them via the search function in the Home you may not find them.
In fact if you search for Holozing you will not find it even though it is votable.
This malfunction of the search function should be solved “yesterday” (=immediately) by TheDappList because for a project like theirs it is crucial that this functionality is immediately visible and that it searches for all dapps!
To overcome this problem you can go directly to thedapplist page reserved for Holozing by entering this address in your browser: https://thedapplist.com/project/holozing
If at the previous web address you enter instead of holozing the name of other Hive-based apps you can vote for other apps
In fact to vote for Holozing I went to https://thedapplist.com/project/holozing and voted for Holozing too
While looking for other Hive-apps to vote for I discovered that there is another search function that works and finds all the apps!
This search function can be accessed from the home page and from this address: https://thedapplist.com/curate?type=All&q=&v=topVoted
The question I have is: why not direct to this page when you click on Search here on the Home Page?
Thanks to the "working" search function on this page I easily searched and was able to vote for many other Hive-based apps.

- è molto veloce

Votare per un applicazione Hive-based o per un gioco Hive-based in un sito che lista applicazioni sviluppate su diverse blockchains può aiutare a promuovere non solo il gioco/l'applicazione ma anche Hive e per questo motivo oggi ho votato per Splinterlands, Holozing, Peakd, Ecency e per tutte le Hive-based apps votabili su https://thedapplist.com/.
Quando ho votato ho notato che nella home page di TheDappList la funzione SEARCH HERE non funziona bene e trovare tutte le Hive-based apps non è possibile perchè questa funzione ricerca solo le dapps che hanno ricevuto più voti.
Per questo motivo ho deciso di scrivere questa guida passo passo per facilitare l'operazione di voto a tutti i miei lettori che, spero, vorranno supportare Hive votando le Hive-based apps su theDappList.
Adesso ti mostro i passi che ho effettuato per votare.
Passo 1: Sono andato su https://thedapplist.com/ e ho cliccato su Connect Wallet
E' possibile utilizzare molti wallet ma non ci sono opzioni per gli Hive Wallets e per questo motivo io ho scelto di connettere il mio Metamask Wallet.
Tu puoi scegliere di connettere il wallet che preferisci.
Se non hai un wallet presente tra le opzioni sceglibili ti potrebbe essere utile la video guida pubblicata da @alex-rourke per creare un Trust Wallet on Mobile: How to create a Trust Wallet step by step
Passo 2: poi ho cliccato su MetaMask
Passo 3: poi ho cliccato su Connetti nalla finestra dell'estensione di Metamask nel mio browser e poi ho cliccato Confirm nella schermata successiva.
Passo 4: su thedapplist ho cliccato su Complete Profile
Passo 5: nella schermata successiva ho scelto di inserire solo il mio username e ho scelto lo stesso username che ho su Hive per partecipare all'iniziativa organizzata da @coldbeetrootsoup.
Per completare l'operazione ho cliccato su Save Information
Passo 6: nel campo di ricerca in alto a sinistra ho inserito la parola splinterlands e poi ho cliccato sul riquadro di Splinterlands.

Passo 7: Per votare Splinterlands ho cliccato su Upvote

Ho votato per Splinterlands e il mio voto è stato il 119°!
Su TheDappList ci sono anche altre Hive-based apps votabili ma se le cerchi tramite la funzione di ricerca nella Home potresti non trovarle.
Infatti se cerchi Holozing non lo troverai anche se è votabile.
Questo mal funzionamento della funzione di ricerca dovrebbe essere risolto "ieri" (=immediatamente) da TheDappList perchè per un progetto come il loro è cruciale che questa funzionalità sia immediatamente visibile e che cerchi tutte le dapps!
Per ovviare a questo problema puoi andare direttamente sulla pagina di thedapplist riservata ad Holozing inserendo nel tuo browser questo indirizzo: https://thedapplist.com/project/holozing
Se al precedente indirizzo web inserisci invece di holozing il nome di altre Hive-based apps puoi votare anche per altre apps come ho fatto io oggi.
Infatti per votare Holozing sono andato su https://thedapplist.com/project/holozing e ho votato anche per Holozing
Mentre cercavo altre Hive-apps da votare ho scoperto che c'è un'altra funzione di ricerca che funziona e che trova tutte le apps!

La domanda che mi pongo è: perchè non indirizzare a questa pagina quando si clicca su Search here nella Home Page?

I have done my voting already for splinterlands. I know about moonkarts and keychain etc so I will be voting for them as well however projects like holozing are new for me and I have no clue about them. I see that you post about holozing often so I will explore about it and see it it fits my interest.
I am fan of gaming projects on hive and trying to add more in to my portfolio but obviously can't add so need to be selective and choose the ones I can continue for long.
you are right to be selective in your choice of games.
playing the games you like the most and choosing the ones that you think have the most potential is always the right choice
