In just three days the pre-sale of the new set of cards will begin: Conclave Arcana.
Compared to the release of the previous Set, the Rebellion set, there will be many new features including the possibility to choose from 4 different types of packs of cards to purchase that will have different costs:
- Starter Packs: cost of 1000 DEC or 1000 Credits per pack
- Standard Packs: cost of 4000 DEC or 4000 Credits per pack
- Alchemy Packs: cost of 12000 DEC or 12000 Credits per pack
- Legendary Packs: cost of 24000 DEC or 24000 Credits per pack
The starter packs will contain only common and rare cards and will only be purchasable during the general sale while the other packs will be purchasable in the presale but the cards contained in the packs will only be usable from May 13, 2025 when the general sale begins.
I have already decided to participate in the presale but will most likely only purchase 10 Standard packs.
This is the minimum purchase to receive 1 guaranteed Rare Promo card.
I will invest not much in the presale because, as I have always done for the previous sets, my purchase strategy for the new set of cards will be very focused in the period after the general sale begins.
My purchase/upgrade strategy will be very much influenced by the market value of the DEC tokens, the market value of the Conclave Arcana card packs on Hive Engine, and also the estimated value of the cards in the card packs.
I will try to publish a post regarding my presale participation and my personal strategies/considerations on the first day(s) of the presale.

In this post I share management of my land plots and a focus on changes in the value of resources producible in lands.
By the way, for the first time the resources produced in the land Plots will also have a use case in the release of the new set of cards because they can be used to purchase Mage Wagons that are important elements in the Conflicts.
Managing My Land Plots: My TRADE HUB Activity + The Financial Evaluation of my Plots Production
On March 18, 2025 Splinterlands released the Land 1.75 Update which introduced the production of new resources and made the management of land plots more interesting and also more fun in my opinion.

I have 3 land plots in the Bredaine region:
- 1 plot of type Plains producing Grain
- 1 plot of type Hills producing Stone
- 1 plot of type Forest producing Wood
One of my recurring mistakes that I have to try to correct is not making the claim of resources produced in a timely manner.
In fact, often the production of my land plots reaches 100% for several days.
Today I went to the Play section and clicked on LAND.
I found the capacity of my land plots at 100% and used the useful HARVEST ALL feature to make the claim of my resources.
Thanks to the claim I have received:
- 29559.46 Grain
- 8541.61 Wood
- 2494.08 Stone

I have a grain reserve = 160805.93 which allows me to satisfy the total grain cost of my 3 land plots without any problems even though my grain production is slightly less than the total cost of my land plots and will decrease as time goes by.
When I run out of my grain reserve I will convert some of the Wood and Stone resources in Grain to meet the grain requirement of my worker cards in my land plots.
In the Markets section of the LAND TRADE HUB there are 4 liquidity pools that allow converting Grain, Wood, Stone and Iron type resources into DEC.
In the next images you can see the value in DEC of each unit of resource that can be produced in the lands and convertible to DEC through the SWAP feature of the LAND TRADE HUB.
Today April 19, 2025:
- 1 GRAIN = 0.01 DEC
- 1 WOOD = 0.023 DEC
- 1 STONE = 0.098 DEC
- 1 IRON = 0.298 DEC
Starting on March 22, 2025, I began monitoring the value of conversion to DEC of producible resources from land plots and will do so at more or less regular time intervals.
Compared to March 22, 2025 (4 days after the release of Land 1.75 Update), the value of resources has decreased:
Grain: -0.003 DEC = -23.08%
Wood: -0.024 DEC = -51.06%
Stone: -0.317 DEC = -76.39%
Iron: -0.463 DEC = -60.84%
From the date of my last claim to the present (April 8, 2025 - April 19, 2025), in a time interval of 11 days the value in DEC of three out of four resources increased:
Grain: +0 DEC = +0.00%
Wood: +0.004 DEC = +21.05%
Stone: +0.011 DEC = +12.64%
Iron: +0.032 DEC = +12.03%
My strategy for my land plots is greatly influenced by the value in DEC of the resources.
In fact, my current strategy is:
- don't sell the Grain
- sell Wood and Stone
Today I sold 8541.61 Wood in exchange for 192.10 DEC
Note that there may be a difference between the value in DEC in the SWAP window and the value in final DEC due to the effect of Market Fluctuations.
Today, I also sold 2494.08 Stone in exchange for 244.42 DEC
Today, from the sale of Wood and Stone resources I gained a total of 436.53 DEC
Based on today's market value of the HIVE token and DEC token (Highest Bid value), I calculated the total value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the gain I made from the sale of resources produced by my land plots from March 18, 2025 until today.
My total gain is = 1887.84 DEC = 7.38 SWAP.HIVE = $1.78
I will continue to produce and accumulate Wood and Stone to sell these resources for DEC with the goal of having a greater amount of DEC tokens to purchase packs of cards and/or cards of the Arcana Conclave set.
With the profit I have made so far from the sale of my Wood and Stone resources (1887.84 DEC) I could buy 1 CA starter pack during the general sale or almost 1/2 CA standard pack during the presale.
When the first Arcana Conclave Conflit will start I will evaluate whether to use the resources from my land plots to buy/repair Mage Wagons
I will end this post just by showing you my last and most recent battle played in Modern Format which is my favorite ranked play format because bots and battle helpers are banned in this format.

Rispetto al rilascio del precedente Set, Rebellion, ci saranno molte novità tra cui la possibilità di scegliere tra 4 diverse tipologie di pacchi di carte da acquistare che avranno costi differenti:

Io ho già deciso di partecipare alla presale ma, con molta probabilità, acquisterò solo 10 Standard pack.
E' questo l'acquisto minimo per ricevere 1 Rare Promo card garantita.
Investirò il minimo nella presale perchè, come ho sempre fatto per i precedenti set, la mia strategia di acquisto per il nuovo set di carte sarà molto focalizzata nel periodo successivo all'inizio della general sale.
La mia strategia di acquisto/upgrade sarà molto influenzata dal valore di mercato dei token DEC, dal valore di mercato dei pacchi di carte Conclave Arcana su Hive Engine e anche dal valore stimato delle carte contenute nei pacchi di carte.

Il 18 marzo 2025 Splinterlands ha rilasciato il Land 1.75 Update che ha introdotto la produzione di nuove risorse e ha reso la gestione dei land plots più interessante e anche più divertente secondo me.

Io ho 3 land plots nella regione Bredaine:
- 1 plot di tipo Plains che produce Grain
- 1 plot di tipo Hills che produce Stone
- 1 plot di tipo Forest che produce Wood
Uno dei miei errori ricorrenti che devo cercare di correggere è il non fare il claim delle risorse prodotte in tempo utile.
Infatti spesso la produzione dei miei land plots raggiunge il 100% per diversi giorni.
Oggi sono andato nella sezione Play (mi piace molto la nuova grafica) e ho cliccato su LAND.
Ho trovato la capacità dei miei land plots al 100% e ho utilizzato l'utile funzionalità HARVEST ALL per fare il claim delle mie risorse.
Grazie al claim ho ricevuto:
- 29559.46 Grain
- 8541.61 Wood
- 2494.08 Stone

Ho una riserva di grano = 160805.93 che mi permette di soddisfare il costo totale in grano dei miei 3 land plots senza problemi anche se la mia produzione di grano è leggermente inferiore al costo totale dei miei land plots e diminuirà con il passare del tempo.
Quando finirò la mia riserva di grano convertirò una parte delle risorse Wood e Stone per soddisfare il fabbisogno in grano delle mie worker cards nei miei land plots.
Mella sezione Markets del LAND TRADE HUB ci sono 4 liquidity pools che permettono di convertire le risorse di tipo Grain, Wood, Stone e Iron in DEC.
Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere il valore in DEC di ogni unità di risorsa producibile nelle lands e convertibile in DEC tramite la funzionalità SWAP del LAND TRADE HUB.
Oggi 19 aprile 2025:
- 1 GRAIN = 0.01 DEC
- 1 WOOD = 0.023 DEC
- 1 STONE = 0.098 DEC
- 1 IRON = 0.298 DEC
Rispetto al 22 marzo 2025 (4 giorni dopo il rilascio del Land 1.75 Update) il valore delle risorse è diminuito:
Grain: -0.003 DEC = -23.08%

Iron: -0.463 DEC = -60.84%
Dalla data del mio ultimo claim ad oggi (8 aprile 2025 - 19 aprile 2025), in un intervallo di tempo di 11 giorni il valore in DEC di tre risorse su quattro è aumentato:
Grain: +0 DEC = +0.00%
Wood: +0.004 DEC = +21.05%
Stone: +0.011 DEC = +12.64%
Iron: +0.032 DEC = +12.03%
La mia strategia per i miei land plots è molto influenzata dal valore in DEC delle risorse.
Infatti la mia strategia attuale è:
- non vendere il Grain
- vendere Wood e Stone
Oggi ho venduto 8541.61 Wood in cambio di 192.10 DEC
Nota che ci può essere una differenza tra il valore in DEC nella finestra di SWAP e il valore in DEC finale per effetto del Market Fluctuations.
Oggi ho venduto anche 2494.08 Stone in cambio di 244.42 DEC
Oggi, dalla vendita delle risorse Wood e Stone ho guadagnato in totale 436.53 DEC
In base al valore di mercato odierno del token HIVE e del token DEC (Highest Bid value) ho calcolato il valore totale in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari del guadagno che ho ottenuto dalla vendita delle risorse prodotte dai miei land plots dal 18 marzo 2025 fino ad oggi.
Il mio guadagno totale è = 1887.84 DEC = 7.38 SWAP.HIVE = 1.78$
Continuerò a produrre e ad accumulare Wood e Stone per vendere queste risorse in cambio di DEC con l'obiettivo di avere un quantitativo maggiore di token DEC per acquistare pacchi di carte e/o carte del set Conclave Arcana.
Con il guadagno che ho ottenuto fino ad ora grazie alla vendita delle mie risorse Wood e Stone (1887.84 DEC) potrei acquistare 1 CA starter pack durante la general sale e quasi 1/2 CA standard pack durante la presale.
Quando inizierà il primo Conclave Arcana Conflit valuterò se utilizzare le risorse dei miei land plots per acquistare/riparare Mage Wagons
Concludo questo post proprio mostrandoti la mia ultima e più recente battaglia giocata nel Modern Format che è il mio formato ranked play preferito perchè in questo formato sono vietati i bots e i battle helpers.

I think the strategy is going to work out well. What do you plan to do when the price of resources flip around? Will you just change the resources you are selling and keep the rest to use in your own land later?
Io ho 4 land. Una l'ho venduta e ho bloccato tutte produzioni tranne una che adesso produce wood ma credo che bloccherò anche quella per poi vedere se vendere... putroppo splinterland ha perso attrattiva per me.

If you're buying a standard pack in the presale then that's decent enough. There's no need to exhaust capital or funds when the general sale is coming up. Sometimes I think buying individual cards can even be better, because sometimes you rely on luck to make back your investment when you're buying packs.
I'm not buying in big either, I would rather pickup cards that I want afterward. I just didn't do well enough on big buys of packs in the past. Nice work on the land, you're producing some nice levels of DEC out of it which will help buy some of the new cards. Modern is going to look completely different very, very soon!
