My Road to 500K COLONY Staked Completed!
+ My Moon Karts Progress
I am an active player on several Hive-based games including Moonkarts which is a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games on the Arcade Colony platform.
I really like the idea behind the Arcade Colony platform: a single platform with several games and two main tokens: the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token.
- the COLONY token is the gorvernance token of Arcade Colony (equivalent to the SPS token on Splinterlands and the GLX token on Genesis League Sports)
- the SCRIPT token is the stable currency of Arcade Colony (equivalent to the DEC token on Splinterlands and the GLUSD token on Genesis League Sports)

If you want to buy or sell COLONY tokens and/or SCRIPT tokens, I always recommend checking the most convenient option between buying on Hive Engine and buying via the SWAP functionality of the SWAP.HIVE:COLONY and SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT pools
On Arcade Colony my favourite games are Splinterlands and Moon Karts.
Splinterlands is over six years old while Moon Karts is a much younger game.
Moon Karts is the main reason why I started accumulating COLONY tokens because:
- when I like and enjoy a game I also like to accumulate assets (NFTs and tokens) that have use cases in game
- the COLONY token has use cases in the Moon Karts game because when staked it determines the Multiplier to receive better rewards by playing Moon Karts.

The staked COLONY tokens also have use cases on Stake House Den and in the future will also have use cases on Hyper Rail Blaster which is a playable game in the Alpha version but is still under development and the rewards system is not active.

At the beginning of April 2025 I had set an accumulation goal for COLONY tokens staked: 500K COLONY staked
In my previous posts on Moon Karts, I shared my progress towards this goal.
Today I am happy to share that I have reached and exceeded my accumulation goal for COLONY staked tokens because in my in-game wallet on Arcade Colony I have 524985.50 COLONY staked.
I've reached my goal but I'm not going to stop and I've decided to set a higher accumulation goal now!
My next goal will be to accumulate 1 Million COLONY staked!
To reach this new goal I will have to accumulate another 475014.5 staked COLONY!
My progress on Moon Karts
In order to reach my goal of accumulating staked COLONY tokens it will be very important to play on Moon Karts because until now it has been my main source of earning COLONY tokens.
Playing a lot of races on Moon Karts is equivalent to earning an increasing amount of COLONY tokens race after race.
In my best season (season 33) I played 222 races and earned 68K COLONY tokens.
In the current season (season 35) and the season before (season 34) I only played a total of 13 races because I was on holiday for 10 days during which I did not play.
I resumed playing yesterday and in the coming days and especially next season I will try to get back to the rhythm of play I had before I left for my last holiday.
Although I only played 7 races in the last completed season (season 34) on Moon Karts I still received a good reward in COLONY tokens:
- Races earnings: 83 COLONY
- Ranked Leaderboard: 6229 COLONY
- Orbital Leaderboard: 2152 COLONY
To improve the stats of my Kart Preset I need to buy more NFTs but the NFTs I need have too high prices on the market in my opinion.
For this reason I prefer to buy the card packs on Hive Engine even though the maximum purchase price I am willing to pay for one CENTAURI token is 10 SWAP.HIVE while the lowest purchase offer on Hive Engine today 26 August 2025 is 20 SWAP.HIVE per CENTAURI token.
I have two active purchase offers for 2 CENTAURI and I have 1 CENTAURI token that I purchased 21 days ago for 9 SWAP.HIVE.
Today I first transferred my CENTAURI token from my Hive Engine wallet to my in-game wallet.
Then I went to the My Packs section on Moon Karts and opened the CENTAURI pack.
In the next image you can see the five NFTs I found inside the CENTAURI pack.

Unfortunately I wasn't lucky because I didn't find any useful NFTs to improve my Kart Preset stats but I hope to have better luck next time.

Su Arcade Colony i miei giochi preferiti sono Splinterlands e Moon Karts.
Splinterlands ha più di sei anni di vita mentre Moon Karts è un gioco molto più giovane.
Moon Karts è il motivo principale per cui ho iniziato ad accumulare i token COLONY perchè:

Diversi mesi fa avevo fissato un obiettivo di accumulo per i token COLONY staked: 500K COLONY staked
Nei miei precedenti post su Moon Karts ho condiviso i miei progressi verso questo mio obiettivo.
Oggi sono felice di poter condividere il raggiungimento e superamento del mio obiettivo di accumulo per i token COLONY staked perchè nel mio in-game wallet su Arcade Colony ho 524985.50 COLONY staked.
Ho raggiunto il mio obiettivo ma non ho intenzione di fermarmi e ho deciso di fissare subito un obiettivo di accumulo più alto!
Il mio prossimo obiettivo sarà di accumulare 1 Milione di COLONY staked!
Per raggiungere questo nuovo obiettivo dovrò accumulare altri 475014.5 COLONY staked!
I Miei Progressi su Moon Karts
Per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di accumulo per i token COLONY staked sarà molto importante la mia attività di gioco su Moon Karts perchè fino ad oggi è stata la mia principale fonte di guadagno dei token COLONY.
Giocare molte corse su Moon Karts equivale a guadagnare un quantitativo di token COLONY crescente gara dopo gara.
Nella mia migliore stagione (la stagione 33) ho giocato 222 corse e ho guadagnato 68K COLONY.
Nella stagione in corso (la stagione 35) e nella stagione precedente (la stagione 34) ho giocato in totale solo 13 corse perchè sono stato in vacanza per 10 giorni durante i quali non ho giocato.
Ho ripreso a giocare ieri e nei prossimi giorni e soprattutto nella prossima stagione cercherò di ritornare ai ritmi di gioco che tenevo prima di partire per la mia ultima vacanza.
Per migliorare i miei risultati di gioco su Moon Karts mi piacerebbe:
- migliorare le statistiche del mio Kart Preset
- aumentare la produzione di FUEL
Per migliorare le statistiche del mio Kart Preset ho necessità di acquistare altri NFT ma ancora non mi piacciono i prezzi sul mercato degli NFT che vorrei acquistare perchè li considero troppo alti.
Per questo motivo preferisco acquistare i pacchi di carte su Hive Engine anche se il prezzo di acquisto massimo che sono disposto a pagare per un CENTAURI token è di 10 SWAP.HIVE mentre l'offerta di acquisto più bassa presente su Hive Engine oggi 26 agosto 2025 è di 20 SWAP.HIVE per CENTAURI token.
Ho due offerte di acquisto attive per 2 CENTAURI e ho 1 CENTAURI token che ho acquistato 21 giorni fa al prezzo di 9 SWAP.HIVE.
Oggi ho prima trasferito il mio CENTAURI token dal mio Hive Engine wallet al mio in-game wallet.
Poi sono andato nella sezione My Packs su Moon Karts e ho aperto il CENTAURI pack.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere i 5 NFT che ho trovato all'interno del CENTAURI pack.
Purtroppo non sono stato fortunato perchè non ho trovato NFT utili per migliorare le statistiche del mio Kart Preset ma spero di avere più fortuna la prossima volta.
