Moon Karts Alpha: Time to Use my Genesis League Goals Game Rewards to Increase my COLONY Staked!

Moon Karts Alpha: Time to Use my Genesis League Goals Game Rewards to Increase my COLONY Staked!
On September 2024, the playable Alpha version of the game Moonkarts was released.
Moonkarts is a arcade race game Hive-based that in my opinion has potential because it has beautiful graphics and has good playability already in the Alpha version.
I have published two recent posts about Moon Karts that you can read by clicking on the next two links.
Today I am sharing my stacking strategy for COLONY tokens which are important tokens in the game dynamics of Moon Karts because based on the amount of COLONY staked you receive a certain Multiplier which also depends on the rating obtained by playing.
Starting today in my COLONY staked accumulation strategy, Genesis League Goals also comes into play.
Moon Karts, Splinterlands and Genesis League Goals are the three Hive based games accessible from the Arcade Colony game platform: https://arcadecolony.com/
I have invested and am an active player in all three games but according to my personal gaming tastes:
- I enjoy playing on Splinterlands
- I enjoy playing on Moon Karts
- I do not enjoy playing on Genesis League Goals

The three games have very different themes and dynamics but Genesis League Goals is the game about which I had so many good expectations but then turned into disappointment.
I think Genesis League Goals might still have potential but only if version 2.0 (under development) will be:
- more interactive than the current version
- more like the real game of soccer than the current version which has very little of the strategic dynamics of real soccer.
In the screenshot below you can see an image of the version 2.0 under development announced months ago but not yet released.
I like to support Hive-based games and so I will continue to maintain some of the NFT and GLX staked tokens I have on Genesis League Goals but starting today:
- I will convert all GLX tokens that I earn from my playing activity on Genesis League Goals into COLONY tokens
- I will convert all GLUSD tokens that I earn from the sale of my player and coach cards that on Genesis League Goals I do not use in play into SCRIPT tokens that on Moon Karts are important to produce FUEL.
- I will only return to investing and accumulating Genesis League Goals assets when version 2.0 is released and if I evaluate this version as much more fun than version 1.0.
My reasoning is simple: if a game is fun for me, it might have potential because other players might like it too.
Moon Karts has been playable for less than a month but it is already a fun game so it can only get better.
Genesis League Goals has been playable for a long time but the game is not very fun, the development is slow and the introduction of improvements is also relatively slow.
Based on my personal evaluations I prefer to focus much more on Moon Karts than on Genesis League Goals although I hope this game can improve in the future and awaken my interest.
On Genesis League Goals I have 33939 GLX staked.
Today I unstake 3939 GLX because I want to keep only 30K GLX staked to continue playing on Genesis League Goals.
In the last 3-4 months I have not played very frequently on Genesis League Goals and have accumulated 2349 liquid GLX.
Today I transferred these 2349 GLX to Hive Engine and used the GLX:COLONY pool to make the swap: 2349 GLX -> 2265.45 COLONY
Then I went to https://arcadecolony.com/token/colony/stake and transferred my liquid COLONY tokens from my Hive Engine Wallet to my in-game wallet.
I then performed the staking operation
I now have 36038 COLONY staked but my goal is to accumulate at least 100K COLONY staked.
Moon Karts is playable but 2/4 of the rewards system is not yet active and the rewards of individual races have been limited until the new rshares-based system will be released.
The Moon Karts development team is gathering feedback from the active player community before fully activating the Reward System and has announced the objectives of the next release.
Moon Karts is a game that I like and therefore I will try to increase my amount of staked COLONY and I will also try to increase my production of FUEL before the full activation of the Reward System that will distribute 47.5 MILLION COLONY per year to reward players' gaming activity.
I conclude this post by showing some screenshots I took from my last race played in the multiplayer mode.

Moon Karts Alpha: la mia strategia di incremento dei token COLONY!
Il 20 settembre 2024 è stata rilasciata la versione Alpha completamente giocabile del gioco Moonkarts.
Moonkarts è un arcade race game Hive-based che secondo me ha potenziale perchè ha una bella grafica ed ha una buona giocabilità già nella versione Alpha.
Ho già pubblicato due post su Moon Karts che puoi leggere cliccando sui due successivi links.
Oggi condivido la mia strategia di accumulo dei token COLONY che sono token importanti nelle dinamiche di gioco di Moon Karts perchè in base al quantitativo di COLONY staked si riceve un determinato Multiplier che dipende anche dal rating ottenuto giocando.
A partire da oggi nella mia strategia di accumulo dei COLONY staked entra in gioco anche Genesis League Goals.

Ho investito e sono un giocatore attivo in tutti e tre i giochi ma secondo i miei personali gusti:
- mi diverto a giocare su Splinterlands

- non mi diverto a giocare su Genesis League Goals

I tre giochi hanno temi e dinamiche molto differenti ma Genesis League Goals è il gioco su cui avevo tante belle aspettative ma che poi si sono tramutate in delusione.
Penso che Genesis League Goals potrebbe avere ancora potenziale ma solo se la versione 2.0 (in fase di sviluppo) sarà:
- più interattiva dell'attuale versione
- più simile al reale gioco del calcio rispetto alla versione attuale che ha ben poco delle dinamiche strategiche del calcio reale.
Nello screenshot seguente puoi vedere un immagine della versione 2.0 in fase di sviluppo annunciata mesi fa ma non ancora rilasciata.
Mi piace supportare i giochi Hive-based e quindi continuerò a mantenere una parte degli NFT e dei token GLX staked che ho su Genesis League Goals ma a partire da oggi:
- convertirò tutti i token GLX che guadagnerò dalla mia attività di gioco su Genesis League Goals in token COLONY
- convertirò tutti i token GLUSD che guadagnerò dalla vendita delle mie carte giocatore e allenatore che su Genesis League Goals non uso in gioco in token SCRIPT che su Moon Karts sono importanti per produrre FUEL.
- ritornerò ad investire e accumulare assets di Genesis League Goals solo quando la versione 2.0 sarà rilasciata e se valuterà questa versione divertente.
Il mio ragionamento è semplice: se un gioco è divertente per me, potrebbe avere del potenziale perchè potrebbe piacere anche ad altri giocatori.
Moon Karts è giocabile da pochi giorni ma è già un gioco divertente e quindi può solo migliorare.
Genesis League Goals è un gioco giocabile da molto tempo ma il gioco è poco divertente, lo sviluppo è lento e anche l'introduzione di miglioramenti è relativamente lenta.
In base alle mie valutazioni personali preferisco puntare molto di più su Moon Karts che su Genesis League Goals anche se spero che questo gioco possa migliorare in futuro e risvegliare il mio interessse.
Su Genesi League Goals ho 33939 GLX staked.

Moon Karts è giocabile ma 2/4 del rewards system non sono ancora attivi e le ricompense delle singole corse sono state limitate fin quando non sarà rilasciato il nuovo sistema basato su rshares.
Il team di sviluppo di Moon Karts sta raccogliendo i feedbacks dalla comunità di giocatori attivi prima di attivare completamente il Reward System e ha annunciato gli obiettivi della prossima release.
Moon Karts è un gioco che mi piace e per questo motivo cercherò di aumentare il mio quantitativo di COLONY staked e cercherò di aumentare anche la mia produzione di FUEL prima dell'attivazione completa del Reward System che distribuirà 47.5 Milioni di COLONY all'anno per ricompensare l'attività di gioco.
Concludo questo post mostrando alcuni screenshots che ho preso dalla mia ultima corsa nella modalità multiplayer.

It seems like quite a lot of fun to play that game.
Yes the game is a lot of fun although at this stage it is not always possible to play because it is not easy to find active players because they are still few but I hope there will be many more players in the future. It is a game that could have potential

I think it's a good thing that they are reviewing the rewards system before pushing it out. After all, there will be a lot of push back if they change things after that and making sure to get it right at the start is better for the user experience.
I fully agree with your reasoning. This is the stage where it is important to test the various features and reward mechanisms

Questo è un gioco davvero divertente perchè anche se non è all'altezza di Super Mario Kart è molto simile. Al momento non ci sono molti giocatori attivi e quindi l'attesa per giocare è spesso alta ma questo gioco potrebbe avere del potenziale
