Splinterlands is a Trading Card Game player Vs player (PvP) that is entertaining because:

• there are many cards to choose from
• each card has statistics and abilities that increase as the card's level increases
• each battle can have from one up to three rulesets
• each ruleset can positively or negatively affect the statistics and abilities of the cards used in battle.
• there are a total of 44 different rulesets and thanks to the rulesets every battle is different from every other

Winning a game battle in a given league is never a predictable task because:

• a versatile card that is generally very strong in battle could become very weak in the presence of a specific Ruleset either against a specific opponent card or against a combination of opponent cards
• a card that is generally very weak in battle could become very strong in the presence of a specific ruleset or when played together with another card that boosts its stats (Combo).

In today's post I want to focus on cards that have a specific ability, the Silence ability, and I will focus only on cards that can be used in Modern Format ranked battles that have the Wangs Out ruleset.

Starting this season I have chosen to totally disinterest myself in the Wild Format because:

• the Modern Format will be the only format where anti-bots measures will be introduced and therefore it will be the most fun Format to play and will be the oasis of real players like me who enjoy playing on Splinterlands!
• as of this season I have chosen to play only in the Modern Format to be ready when the anti-bots measures are introduced!

Wangs Out Ruleset and Silence Ability

A battle that has the Wands Out ruleset is one in which players can use only cards that have a magic attack.

Cards that have the following abilities are particularly useful in this type of battle:

• Magic Reflect
  

• Silence
  

• Void
  

• Void Armor
  

• Phase
  

There are other abilities that are useful in battles with the Wands Out ruleset, but the abilities I listed before are those that negatively affect an opponent's card's magic-type attack.

In this post I will focus only on cards that have the Silence ability.

Cards that have the Silence ability

The Silence ability is a very rare ability in the game of Splinterlands because there are only 13 cards that have this ability (Wild Format + Modern Format).
This number shrinks even more if we consider only the cards that can be used in ranked battles of the Modern Format: only 9 cards have the Silence ability.

In the modern format and battles that have the Wands Out ruleset, only 4 cards with the Silence ability can be used:

• Goblin Psychic
• Death Elemental
• Elven Mystic
• Sporcerer

Goblin Psychic acquires the Silence ability at level 7 = 150 BCX

Today July 14, 2023 buying Goblin Psychic of level 7 has a total cost of $16,0050

Death Elemental acquires the Silence ability at level 4 = 25 BCX

Today July 14, 2023 buying Death Elemental of level 4 has a total cost of 37.6090$

Elven Mystic acquires the Silence ability at level 4 = 25 BCX

Today, July 14, 2023, it is not possible to buy Elven Mystic of level 4 because there are not enough cards for sale to combining to reach level 4 and the only option to have Elven Mystic with the Silence ability is to buy a maximum level card that has a total cost of $149.9900

The alternative is to make purchase offers and wait for the purchase offers to be accepted by some seller, and that is the option I chose.

Sporcerer acquires the Silence skill at level 4 = 20 BCX

Today, July 14, 2023, buying level 4 Sporcerer has a total cost of $35

Among the cards that have the Silence ability, the cheapest is Goblin Psychic which, however, can only be used with summoners of the elements: Earth, Dragon and Neutral.

My buying choice: Elven Mystic level 4

Those who read my Hive blog regularly know that I like to upgrade my card collection and know that I have long since set a specific game goal: to finish the Splinterlands seasons at least in the Diamond I league.

I haven't reached the Diamond I league for many months but this season I am very close to reaching my gaming goal because when there are 1 day and 13 hours left until the end of the season I am in the Modern Format Diamond II league with a rating score of 3128 points.

Until now in Modern Format battles with the Wands Out ruleset I could only use one card with the Silence ability because I only had level 8 Goblin Psychic in my collection.

Today I am happy to be able to add a second card with the Silence ability to my card collection: Elven Mystic level 4.

I consider Elven Mystic a Must Buy because it is the only neutral card that has the Silence ability usable in Modern Format.

When an ability is useful in precise battles and it is an ability that few cards have I always try to buy those cards if the purchase price is not very high.

That is why two months ago I had made an offer to buy 24 BCX of Elven Mystic to combine with the single BCX of Elven Mystic that I had.

23 of my Bids were accepted and today I was only one BCX away from reaching my purchase goal.

I decided to immediately purchase 1 BCX of Elven Mystic and used the Monstermarket to purchase it: https://monstermarket.io/

I spent 1993.48 DEC and received a cashback of 47.84 DEC

Upgrade goal completed!

There are many card combinations I could use with Elven Mystic level 4 and in the following images you can see just a few of the line-ups I have thought of but they are only a subset of the possible line-ups that can be selected.

For example, the following line-up is one of the line-ups I would like to field in battles with the Wands Out rule that have 58+ mana available.

All opponent attacks would be directed at Agor Longtail who would have 3 cards with the Tank Heal ability to help her regenerate her life points.
Elven Mystic and Goblin Psychic would reduce the attacks of all opposing cards by two points.

Oshur Constantia in addition to regenerating two of Agor Longtail's life points each round of play can resurrect Agor Longtail in the difficult case that it is eliminated.
An alternative would be to also use a card with the Repair ability to increase the difficulty of eliminating Agor Longtail even more.

In the following two images you can see two other formations that I can line up in a battle with the Wands Out rule using Elven Mystic and Goblin Psychic but in this case I used the summoner Obsidian which increases the magic attack of all the cards she summons.

Starting today I will save links of battles I play with the Wands Out battle rule and then I will write a post in which I will move from theory to practice, I will evaluate on the battlefield whether or not my purchase of level 4 Elven Mystic was a good buy or not and show many more line-ups that play well when the battle rule is Wands Out using other card combinations and also using other summoners such as Oster Rotwell and Thaddius Brood who play well in Wands Out battles.

I continue to set growth goals related to SPS tokens and continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection and look forward with great excitement to the introduction of the anti-bots measures in Modern Format which I believe will be a great and important step forward for the entire Splinterlands ecosystem...

Modern Format: la regola di battaglia Wangs Out e l'abilità Silence: Analisi delle carte e la mia scelta di acquisto

Splinterlands è un Trading Card Game player Vs player (PvP) divertente perchè:
perchè:

• ci sono tante carte tra cui scegliere
• ogni carta ha statistiche e abilità che aumentano con l'aumentare del livello
• ogni battaglia può avere da una fino a tre Rulesets
• ogni ruleset può influenzare in modo positivo o negativo le statistiche e le abilità delle carte utilizzate in battaglia.
• ci sono in totale 44 diverse rulesets e grazie alle rulesets ogni battaglia è diversa da ogni altra

Vincere una battaglia di gioco in una determinata lega non è mai scontato perchè:

• una carta versatile e generalmente molto forte in battaglia potrebbe diventare molto debole in presenza di una determinata Ruleset o contro una specifica carta avversaria o contro una combinazione di carte avversarie
• una carta generalmente molto debole in battaglia potrebbe diventare molto forte in presenza di una determinata ruleset o se giocata insieme ad un'altra carta che amplifica le sue statistiche (Combo).

Nel post di oggi voglio focalizzarmi sulle carte che hanno una precisa abilità, l'abilità Silence e mi focalizzerò solo sulle carte utilizzabili nelle ranked battles del Modern Format che hanno la ruleset Wangs Out.

A partire da questa stagione ho scelto di disinteressarmi totalmente del Wild Format perchè:

• il Modern Format sarà l'unico formato in cui saranno introdotte le misure anti-bots e quindi sarà il Formato più divertente da giocare e sarà l'oasi dei giocatori reali come me che si divertono a giocare su Splinterlands!
• da questa stagione ho scelto di giocare solo nel Modern Format per trovarmi pronto quando le misure anti-bots saranno introdotte!

Wangs Out Ruleset and Silence Ability

Una battaglia che ha la ruleset Wands Out è una battaglia in cui i giocatori possono utilizzare solo le carte che hanno un attacco magico.

In questa tipologia di battaglie sono particolarmente utili le carte che hanno le abilità:

• Magic Reflect
  

• Silence
  

• Void
  

• Void Armor
  

• Phase
  

Ci sono altre abilità utili nelle battaglie con la ruleset Wands Out ma le abilità che ti ho elencato prima sono quelle che influenzano negativamente l'attacco di tipo magico di una carta avversaria.

In questo post mi focalizzerò solo sulle carte che hanno l'abilità Silence.

Le carte che hanno l'abilità Silence

L'abilità Silence è un'abilità molto rara nel gioco di Splinterlands perchè ci sono solo 13 carte che hanno questa abilità (Wild Format + Modern Format).
Questo numero si restringe ancora di più se consideriamo solo le carte utilizzabili nelle ranked battles del Modern Format: solo 9 carte hanno l'abilità Silence.

Nel modern format e nelle battaglie che hanno la ruleset Wands Out possono essere utilizzate solo 4 carte con l'abilità Silence:

• Goblin Psychic
• Death Elemental
• Elven Mystic
• Sporcerer

Goblin Psychic acquisisce l'abilità Silence al livello 7 = 150 BCX

Oggi 14 luglio 2023 acquistare Goblin Psychic di livello 7 ha un costo totale di 16.0050$

Death Elemental acquisisce l'abilità Silence al livello 4 = 25 BCX

Oggi 14 luglio 2023 acquistare Death Elemental di livello 4 ha un costo totale di 37.6090$

Elven Mystic acquisisce l'abilità Silence al livello 4 = 25 BCX

Oggi 14 luglio 2023 non è possibile acquistare Elven Mystic di livello 4 perchè non ci sono sufficienti carte in vendita per raggiugere il livello 4 e l'unica opzione per avere Elven Mystic con l'abilità Silence è acquistare una carta di livello massimo che ha un costo totale di 149.9900$

L'alternativa è fare delle offerte di acquisto e aspettare che le offerte di acquisto vengano accettate da qualche venditore ed è l'opzione che ho scelto io.

Sporcerer acquisisce l'abilità Silence al livello 4 = 20 BCX

Oggi 14 luglio 2023 acquistare Sporcere di livello 4 ha un costo totale di 35$

Tra le carte che hanno l'abilità Silence la più economica è Goblin Psychic che però è utilizzabile solo con gli evocatori degli elementi: Earth, Dragon e Neutral.

La mia scelta di acquisto: Elven Mystic di livello 4

Chi legge il mio Hive blog regolarmente sa che mi piace potenziare la mia collezione di carte e sa che ho da tempo stabilito un obiettivo di gioco preciso: riuscire a terminare le stagioni di Splinterlands almeno nella lega Diamond I.

Non raggiungo la lega Diamond I da molti mesi ma in questa stagione sono molto vicino al raggiungimento del mio obiettivo di gioco perchè quando mancano 1 giorno e 13 ore alla fine della stagione sono nella lega Diamond II del Modern Format con un punteggio di rating di 3128 punti.

Fino ad oggi nelle battaglie del Modern Format con la ruleset Wands Out potevo utilizzare solo una carta con l'abilità Silence perchè avevo solo Goblin Psychic di livello 8 nella mia collezione.

Oggi sono felice di poter aggiungere una seconda carta con l'abilità Silence alla mia collezione di carte: Elven Mystic di livello 4

Considero Elven Mystic un Must Buy perchè è l'unica carta neutrale che ha l'abilità Silence utilizzabile nel Modern Format.

Quando un'abilità è utile in precise battaglie ed è un'abilità che hanno poche carte cerco sempre di acquistare quelle carte se il prezzo di acquisto non è molto alto.

Per questo motivo due mesi fa avevo fatto un offerta di acquisto per 24 BCX di Elven Mystic da combinare con il singolo BCX di Elven Mystic che avevo.

23 miei Bids sono stati accettati e oggi mi mancava solo un BCX per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di acquisto.

Ho deciso di acquistare immediatamente 1 BCX di Elven Mystic e per l'acquisto ho utilizzato il mercato di Monstermarket: https://monstermarket.io/

Ho speso 1993.48 DEC e ho ricevuto un cashback di 47.84 DEC

Obiettivo di upgrade completato!

Sono molte le combinazioni di carte che potrei utilizzare con Elven Mystic di livello 4 e nelle immagini seguenti puoi vedere solo alcune delle line-ups a cui ho pensato ma che sono solo un sottoinsieme delle possibili line-ups selezionabili.

Ad esempio la formazione seguente è una delle formazioni che mi piacerebbe schierare nelle battaglie con la regola Wands Out che hanno 58+ mana disponibili.

Tutti gli attacchi avversari sarebbero diretti su Agor Longtail che avrebbe 3 carte con l'abilità Tank Heal per aiutarla a rigenerare i suoi punti vita.
Elven Mystic e Goblin Psychic ridurrebbero di due punti gli attacchi di tutte le carte avversarie.
Oshur Costantia oltre a rigenerare due punti vita di Agor Longtail ad ogni round di gioco può resuscitare Agor Longtail nel difficile caso in cui fosse eliminata.
Un'alternativa potrebbe essere quella di usare anche una carta con l'abilità Repair per aumentare ancora di più la difficoltà di eliminare Agor Longtail.

Nelle due immagini seguenti puoi vedere altre due formazioni che potrò schierare in una battaglia con la regola Wands Out utilizzando Elven Mystic e Goblin Psychic ma in questo caso ho utilizzato l'evocatore Obsidian che aumenta l'attacco magico di tutte le carte da lei evocate.

A partire da oggi salverò i links delle battaglie che giocherò con la regola di battaglia Wands Out e poi scriverò un post in cui passerò dalla teoria alla pratica, valuterò sul campo di battaglia se il mio acquisto di Elven Mystic di livello 4 è stato un buon acquisto oppure no e mostrerò molte più line-ups che giocano bene quando la regola di battaglia è Wands Out utilizzando altre combinazioni di carte e utilizzando anche altri evocatori come ad esempio Oster Rotwell e Thaddius Brood che giocano bene nelle Wands Out battles.
