Yesterday April 22, 2025 began the Conclave Arcana Presale which will end in 18 days and 49 minutes.
Compared to the presale of the previous set, the Rebellion set, there are several changes.
In fact, in the Rebellion Presale it was possible to purchase only one type of card pack and there was the Bonus bulk purchase mechanism for those who purchased an amount of packs exceeding 100 units in a single transaction while this mechanism is not there in the current presale.
In the Arcana Presale Conclave you can purchase 3 types of packs that have different costs:
- Standard Packs: cost of 4000 DEC or 4000 Credits per pack
- Alchemy Packs: cost of 12000 DEC or 12000 Credits per pack
- Legendary Packs: cost of 24000 DEC or 24000 Credits per pack

The useful site Splintercards provides useful information about the Arcana Presale Conclave and, as you can see in the next screenshot, during the first day of the presale were sold:
- 71845 Standard packs = 14.4% of the standard packs available during the
presale - 31845 Alchemy packs = 31.8% of the alchemy packs available during the presale
- 7209 Legendary packs = 14. 4% of the legendary packs available during presale
Standard packs are the best-selling packs based on the number of packs
Alchemy packs are the best-selling packs in percentage and in relation to the number of packs offered for sale by pack type.
The attraction of Alchemy packs is the higher probability of finding a Black Foil card as you can see from the percentages in the next image.

In this post I continue with my established habit in each presale of calculating the cost per pack based on the available purchase options.
This calculation is useful for me in deciding where and how many packs to purchase during the presale, and I hope this calculation will be useful for my readers as well.
Cost per Pack Calculation Based on Buying Options
The Conclave Arcana packs can be purchased using 3 different purchase options:
- using Credits in the Splinterlands Shop
- using DECs in the Splinterlands Shop
- using SWAP.HIVE on Hive Engine
Based on the market value of HIVE tokens (SWAP.HIVE) and based on the market value of DEC tokens I have calculated the cost per pack in dollars for each type of pack that can be purchased during the presale based on the purchase option chosen.
To buy 1 Standard pack in the shop of Splinterlands you have to spend 4000 Credits or 4000 DEC
To buy 1 Standard pack on Hive Engine you have to buy the ARCANA token which has a cost = 13. 50 SWAP.HIVE (80 ARCANA tokens for sale at this price)
The lowest cost per pack is $3.34 obtainable on Hive Engine but in this case you lose the presale benefits.
To purchase 1 Alchemy pack in the shop of Splinterlands you must spend 12000 Credits or 12000 DEC
To buy 1 Alchemy pack on Hive Engine you have to buy the [ARCANAA] token(https://hive-engine. com/trade/ARCANAA) which has a cost = 46.88 SWAP.HIVE (10 ARCANAA tokens for sale at this price)
The lowest cost per pack is $11.62 obtainable on Hive Engine but in this case the cost difference from buying using DEC tokens is very small indeed: $11.69 VS $11.62.
To buy 1 Legendary pack in the shop of Splinterlands you have to spend 24000 Credits or 24000 DEC
To buy 1 Legendary pack on Hive Engine you have to buy the [ARCANAL] token (https://hive-engine. com/trade/ARCANAL) which has a cost = 99 SWAP.HIVE (10 ARCANAL tokens for sale at this price)
The lowest cost per pack is $23.39 obtainable by using DEC tokens in the shop of Splinterlands.
Splinterlands Shop VS Hive Engine
If you have decided to participate in the Arcana Conclave Presale the cost per pack is an important element to consider but it is not the only factor you must consider and evaluate because you must also consider the benefits that can be obtained by participating in the presale.
In fact, participating in the presale guarantees the following benefits:
- for every 40000 DEC or Credits spent you will receive 1 guaranteed rare promo card (Arcane Skinwalker)
- for every 400000 DEC or Credits spent you will receive 1 guaranteed legendary promo card (Gramel the Hunger)
- for every DEC/Credit spent in the presale you earn points for the Presale leaderboard that will award the top 250 Presale Buyers
- for every 1000 DEC/Credits spent you will receive 1 ticket to the Presale Raffle that will give out 71 prizes.
- every 100000 DEC spent in the Presale will earn you 1 Mage Wagon useful in Conclave Arcana Conflicts (you can receive max 8 mage wagons)
The purpose of this post is to give useful evaluation elements to those who have decided to participate in the presale.
Now it is up to you to make your own personal evaluations and choose whether to participate and in what way to participate in the presale.
My first 10 Arcana Packs purchased
I participated in the Rebellion presale and I decided to participate in this presale as well but with a small purchase because I always preferred to purchase cards and packs after the general sale starts because after the general sale starts I have more evaluation elements at my disposal.
In fact, when the general sale starts:
- I will know all the cards in the new set
- I will know the estimated value of a pack of cards, a valuation element that I consider important and that will influence my purchasing strategy related to the Arcana Conclave set.
Today I purchased 10 Standard packs from the Splinterlands Shop and spent 40000 DEC.
Thanks to this purchase:
- I will receive 1 BCX of Arcane Skinwalker

Calcolo del Costo per pacco in base alle opzioni di acquisto
I Conclave Arcana packs possono essere acquistati utilizzando 3 opzioni di acquisto differenti:
- utilizzando i Credits nello Splinterlands Shop
- utilizzando i DEC nello Splinterlands Shop
- utilizzando gli SWAP.HIVE su Hive Engine
In base al valore di mercato dei token HIVE (SWAP.HIVE) e in base al valore di mercato dei token DEC ho calcolato il costo per pacco in dollari per ogni tipologia di pacco acquistabile durante la presale in base all'opzione di acquisto scelta.
Per acquistare 1 Standard pack nello shop di Splinterlands devi spendere 4000 Credits o 4000 DEC
Per acquistare 1 Standard pack su Hive Engine devi acquistare il token ARCANA che ha un costo = 13.50 SWAP.HIVE (80 ARCANA tokens in vendita a questo prezzo)
Il costo per pacco più basso è 3.34$ ottenibile su Hive Engine ma in questo caso si perdono i benefici della presale.

Se hai deciso di partecipare alla Conclave Arcana Presale il costo per pacco è un elemento importante da considerare ma non è l'unico fattore che devi considerare e valutare perchè devi considerare anche i benefici che si possono ottenere partecipando alla presale.
Infatti partecipare alla presale garantisce i seguenti benefici:
- per ogni 40000 DEC o Credits spesi riceverai 1 carta promo rara garantita (Arcane Skinwalker)

Ho partecipato nella presale Rebellion e ho deciso di partecipare anche in questa presale ma con un acquisto piccolo perchè ho sempre preferito acquistare carte e pacchi di carte dopo l'inizio della general sale perchè dopo l'inizio della general sale ho più elementi di valutazione a disposizione.
Infatti quando inizierà la general sale:
- conoscerò tutte le carte del nuovo set
- conoscerò il valore stimato di un pacco di carte, elemento di valutazione che considero importante e che influenzerà la mia strategia di acquisto relativa al set Conclave Arcana.
Oggi ho acquistato 10 Standard pack dallo Shop di Splinterlands e ho speso 40000 DEC.
Grazie a questo acquisto:
- riceverò 1 BCX di Arcane Skinwalker
- ho guadagnato 40 Raffle tickets

Io forse un paio di Alchemy e Legendary packs li prendo, più per divertimento.
Ma che tu sappia, Gramel the Hunger è la prima carta con Triple attack, melee, ranged e magico?
Si anche la mia scelta dei 10 standard packs è stata mossa molto dal fattore divertimento.
Credo proprio di si perchè non ricordo altre carte con 3 attacchi

Yes it is an expensive set if you consider the price of the alchemy and legendary packs but if you consider the price of the standard packs the cost is lower than the Rebellion packs which cost DEC 5000.

Hai fatto bene ad essere prudente perchè i benefici della presale sono per chi acquista tanti pacchi di carte mentre per chi come noi ne acquista pochi non c'è molta differenza tra presale e generale sale e tra l'altro nella general sale i pacchi su Hive Engine potrebbero costare di meno di adesso.
Io ho comprato 10 standard packs più per divertimento ma adesso aspetterò la general sale per valutare altre opzioni di acquisto ;)

It's not worth buying the packs on Hive.engine and losing the presale benefits. I think a lot of people are participating in the presale because of the benefits, otherwise they could have just waited for the general sale. It's a great tutorial.
