Today is the first day of October 2023 and it is also the tenth Hive Power Up Day of the year 2023.
During this year I have successfully participated in all the Hive Power Up Days and my goal is to do 12/12.

I could do Hive Power Up of my liquid HIVEs on a day to day basis and this would be a more logical and also more profitable choice for me because I would have more HP to use on a day to day basis to curate the posts of the authors I follow but I like the idea of participating in an important monthly event for the Hive community that so many other Hive users participate in.

Hive has a great and beautiful community and I am very happy to be a part of it!

Between HP and HBD I have always preferred HP because for a user like me who likes to post content, read and comment on other Hive users' content having more Hive Power is much more useful and has more value than having that extra 7%-8% APR that HBD tokens provide.

With HBD tokens I can have an APR of 20% which is a very good passive income but there are no other use cases.
With the HP I can have an APR of 12%-13% (APR staking + APR curation activity) but:

• I can also support authors I read and follow by voting on their content
• I can also support projects I like by delegating HP
• I can have more decision-making weight on Hive through voting on witnesses or DHF proposals.

My preference for HP is also due to the value I assign to the HIVE token which is not $0.30 as the HIVE token is valued in the market today but is for me much more and is also much more than the value of HBDs which is pegged at the $1 value and undergoes slight fluctuations around this value.

In September, the HIVE token has seen a good increase in value because on September 1 it had a value = $0.270673 while today October 1, 2023 it has a value of $0.3019 (source: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hive-blockchain/).

In a 30-day time interval HIVE has increased in value by +11.54% against the dollar.

Today I am happy because I passed the threshold of 45K HP and approached the threshold of 46K HP.

Today I did a Hive Power Up of 496.28 HIVE and reached an amount of 45487 HP in my Hive wallet.

My main goal on Hive is to reach Orca status.
On Hive at certain amounts of HP you acquire a status.

If you want to know all the updated information about the thresholds related to Hive statuses you can read the post full of useful statistics published by @arcange from which I took the following screenshot.

If I want to acquire Orca status, I must then accumulate an amount of 56897 HP.

To monitor my progress toward Orca status and to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I created a table in which I mark my monthly increases in Hive Power.

September was a good month because:

• I increased my Hive Power by +1421.88 HP with a monthly percentage increase of +3.23% and passed the 45K Hive Power threshold.

• I completed 79.95% of my path to Orca status and still have 11409.46 HP left to reach this goal.

The Power Up I did today was my third largest power up ever but I hope in the following months to surpass even my largest Hive Power Up ever which was the one I did in June.

In the ranking of Hive users with the most HP, I lost one position from September 1, 2023: position 364 -> position 365

The two elements I consider most important for growing on Hive are in order of importance:

• interaction
• consistency in publication

To monitor and evaluate my level of interaction, I like to calculate the value of my Posts/Comments ratio each month.

On September 1, 2023 I had a ratio Posts/Comments = 1437/21812 = 1/15.17
Today October 1, 2023 I have a ratio Posts/Comments = 1463/22582 = 1/15.43

My goal related to interaction is to exceed a posts/comments ratio = 1/20 = 20 comments per published post and with 770 comments written in September I have taken a step toward this goal of mine as well.
I also took a step forward in the ranking of users who wrote the most comments because I moved from position 340 (September 1, 2023) to position 324.

If you are a new Hive user, I recommend that you always give a lot of importance to interaction and try to maintain a posts/comments ratio of at least 1/10.

Why should a Hive user read and comment on one of your posts if you don't read and comment on other authors' posts?

As for my consistency in publishing, I would like to be able to publish 1 post per day in a month but I have not reached this goal for many months:

• August 2022: 10 published posts
• September 2022: 16 published posts
• October 2022: 17 published posts
• November 2022: 13 published posts
• December 2022: 15 published posts
• January 2023: 16 published posts
• February 2023: 19 published posts
• March 2023: 22 published posts

In September, I published 26 posts in 30 days, and although I did not reach my monthly publication goal, I am very happy that I increased the number of published posts compared to previous months, and I am also very happy that I came very close to my goal.

In the month of September I also got a bit out of my comfort zone which is publishing content related to Hive Games and Hive.
In fact, in September I published 3 posts with topics related to some of my personal experiences:

• my visit to a garden in Ischia
• an account of my cousin's wedding lunch
• photos of particular craft creations I saw at a fair in Naples.

I have enjoyed changing writing topics and have also had a chance to interact with Hivers I had not interacted with before who are active in communities where I have been inactive in the past.

In October I will try to write at least 5 posts with topics different to Hive games and I would also like to try some Hive applications that I have not tried yet such as Liketu.

I end this post with my resolutions for the month of October that has just begun.
In the month of October I will strive to publish one post per day but more importantly I will try to interact more by commenting on more posts and I will also try to add new users to the list of users I follow regularly.

In this month I also want to start monitoring more closely the second-level tokens on the Hive blockchain and will start selling the ones that I think have fewer use cases to increase the amount of SWAP.HIVE tokens and increase my Hive Power so as to speed up my path to Orca status.

Are you not a Hive user?

If you are not a Hive user and don't know the world of blockchains you have two options:

Important note

45K Hive Power Superato e la mia strada da Delfino ad Orca!

Oggi è il primo giorno del mese di ottobre 2023 ed è anche il decimo Hive Power Up Day dell'anno 2023.
Nel corso di quest'anno sono riuscito a partecipare a tutti gli Hive Power Up Day e il mio obiettivo è di fare 12/12.

Potrei fare Power Up dei miei HIVE liquidi giorno per giorno e questa sarebbe una scelta più logica e anche più profittevole per me perchè avrei un numero maggiore di HP da utilizzare giorno dopo giorno per curare i post degli autori che seguo ma mi piace l'idea di partecipare ad un appuntamento mensile importante per la comunità di Hive a cui partecipano tanti altri utenti di Hive.

Hive ha una grande e bella comunità e sono molto felice di farne parte!

Tra HP e HBD ho sempre preferito gli HP perchè per un utente come me a cui piace pubblicare contenuti, leggere e commentare i contenuti degli altri utenti di Hive avere più Hive Power è molto più utile e ha più valore rispetto ad avere quel 7%-8% di APR in più che forniscono i token HBD.

Con i token HBD posso avere un APR del 20% che è un ottima entrata passiva ma non ci sono altri casi d'uso.
Con gli HP posso avere un APR del 12%-13% (APR staking + APR curation activity) ma:

• posso anche supportare gli autori che leggo e che seguo votando i loro contenuti
• posso anche supportare i progetti che mi piacciono delegando HP
• posso avere un peso decisionale maggiore su Hive tramite il voto ai testimoni o alle proposte DHF.

La mia preferenza per gli HP è anche dovuta al valore che io assegno al token HIVE che non è 0.30$ come è valutato il token HIVE oggi sul mercato ma è per me molto di più ed è anche molto di più del valore degli HBD che è ancorato al valore di 1 dollaro e subisce leggere oscillazioni intorno a questo valore.

Nel mese di settembre il token HIVE ha registrato un buon incremento di valore perchè il primo settembre aveva un valore = 0.270673$ mentre oggi 1 ottobre 2023 ha un valore di 0.3019$ (fonte: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hive-blockchain/).

In un intervallo di tempo di 30 giorni HIVE ha registrato un aumento di valore del +11.54% rispetto al dollaro.

Oggi sono contento perchè ho superato la soglia di 45K HP e mi sono avvicinato alla soglia dei 46K HP.

Oggi ho fatto un Hive Power Up di 496.28 HIVE e ho raggiunto un quantitativo di 45487 HP nel mio Hive wallet.

Il mio obiettivo principale su Hive è raggiungere lo status di Orca.
Su Hive a determinati quantitativi di HP si acquisisce uno status.

I quantitativi di HP da superare per acquisire uno status sono dinamici e possono cambiare con il passare del tempo.

Se voglio acquisire lo status di Orca devo quindi accumulare un quantitativo di 56897 HP.

Per monitorare i miei progressi verso lo status di Orca e per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese ho costruito una tabella in cui segno ad ogni inizio mese i miei incrementi mensili di Hive Power.

Il mese di settembre è stato un mese positivo perchè:

• ho aumentato il mio Hive Power di +1421.88 HP con un incremento percentuale mensile del +3.23% e ho superato la soglia dei 45K Hive Power.

• ho completato il 79.95% del mio percorso verso lo status di Orca e mi mancano ancora 11409.46 HP per raggiungere questo obiettivo.

Il Power Up che ho effettuato oggi è stato il mio terzo più grande power up di sempre ma spero nei mesi successivi di riuscire a superare anche il mio Hive Power Up più grande di sempre che è stato quello che ho fatto nel mese di giugno.

Nella classifica degli utenti di Hive con il maggior quantitativo di HP ho perso una posizione rispetto al 1 settembre 2023: posizione 364 -> posizione 365

I due elementi che considero più importanti per crescere su Hive sono in ordine di importanza:

• interazione
• consistenza nella pubblicazione

Per monitorare e valutare il mio livello di interazione mi piace calcolare ogni mese il valore del mio rapporto Posts/Comments.

Il 1 settembre 2023 avevo un rapporto Posts/Comments = 1437/21812 = 1/15.17
Oggi 1 ottobre 2023 ho un rapporto Posts/Comments = 1463/22582 = 1/15.43

Il mio obiettivo relativo all'interazione è di superare un rapporto posts/comments = 1/20 = 20 commenti per ogni post pubblicato e con 770 commenti scritti nel mese di settembre ho fatto un passo in avanti anche verso questo mio obiettivo.
Ho fatto anche un passo in avanti nella classifica degli utenti che hanno scritto il maggiore numero di commenti perchè sono passato dalla posizione 340 (1 settembre 2023) alla posizione 324.

Se sei un nuovo utente di Hive ti consiglio di dare sempre molta importanza all'interazione e di cercare di mantenere un rapporto posts/commenti di almeno 1/10.

Perchè un utente di Hive dovrebbe leggere e commentare un tuo post se tu non leggi e commenti i post degli altri autori?

Nel mese di settembre ho pubblicato 26 post in 30 giorni e anche se non ho raggiunto il mio obiettivo di pubblicazione mensile sono molto contento di aver aumentato il numero di post pubblicati rispetto ai mesi precedenti e sono anche molto contento di essermi molto avvicinato al mio obiettivo.
Sono molto contento anche di essere entrato nella posizione 39 della TOP 100 degli autori che hanno guadagnato di più nel mese di settembre, classifica pubblicata da @dalz nel seguente post: Top Hive Earners by Category | Authors, Curators, Witnesses, DAO, HBD Interest | September 2023

Nel mese di settembre sono un pò uscito dalla mia comfort zone che è la pubblicazione di contenuti relativi agli Hive Games e ad Hive.
Infatti nel mese di settembre ho pubblicato 3 post con argomenti relativi ad alcune mie esperienze personali:

• la mia visita ad un giardino ad Ischia
• un racconto del pranzo del matrimonio di mia cugina
• le foto di particolari creazioni artigianali che ho visto ad una fiera a Napoli.

Mi sono divertito a cambiare argomento di scrittura e ho anche avuto occasione di interagire con Hivers con cui non avevo interagito prima che sono attivi in comunità dove sono poco attivo.

Nel mese di ottobre cercherò di scrivere almeno 5 post con argomenti diversi dagli Hive games e mi piacerebbe anche provare alcune applicazioni di Hive che non ho ancora provato come ad esempio Liketu.

Nel mese di ottobre mi impegnerò a pubblicare un post al giorno ma soprattutto cercherò di interagire di più commentando un numero maggiore di post e cercherò anche di aggiungere nuovi utenti alla lista di utenti che seguo regolarmente.

In questo mese voglio iniziare anche a monitorare con maggiore attenzione i token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive e inizierò a vendere quelli che secondo me hanno meno casi d'uso per incrementare il quantitativo di token SWAP.HIVE e aumentare il mio Hive Power in modo da velocizzare il mio percorso verso lo status di Orca.
