With a hyper one year old toddler, I decided to adhere anti-collision rubbers on our bedside wall.

The thought that when my son turns a year older, it would be easier for me to take care of him. I just assumed as it was the opposite, as having a hyper toddler was a challege. Yes, he could walk alone but there are still time he would stumbled on the ground. If my reflexes are fast, then I could catch him but not all the time. Even staying in our bed was tiring as he would keep walking back and forth, doing free fall etc. Him not bumping his head on the wall was a miracle. As a mom who wanted the best for his son, I opted to buy something to stick in the wall for anti-collision. At first. I was eying off colorful bump guards but then I changed my mind. Thinking it would damage the painted wall, why not choose a design that could be aesthetic?

• It's a 2CM rubber, no mount needed just adhesive tape.

It comes with a free adhesive tape.

Now the problem was finding time when to do the job? Everyone here in the compound was busy and I no longer wanted to disturb them. Leaving me with no choice but to do it myself.

• I used this to measure the height when to start Gluing these rubbers on the wall. Used pencil to mark.

I was confident in doing as it was an easy peasy but not with a toddler beside me.

He kept on snatching the tapes from me and even pulling the rubbers I adhere on the walls.

The result was I couldn't stick it well on the wall and had a space 🤣. Just the thought at least not enough to hurt his head in case.

I'll put an adhesive tape, glued the rubber, he would pull it off again.

Finally, I was done but it doesn't look like what it was supposed to be. Unfilled gaps, glued in uneven length 😆🤣.

For the headboard, I decided not to finish it. Instead. I will be buying a ready-made online with a cushion. That's more ideal for his safety.

Somehow, it was a huge relief that he still kept on pulling it off.

I had bought an extra adhesive tape for this but in case , I do hope his guardian angel is guarding him well.
