When what to wear became a problem, we bought clothes for the christening and had a quick family bonding.
After the Christmas celebration, we decided to visit the nearest mall in our place. Aside from having a short bond, I need to buy clothes for my son's christening. Yes, I had a lot of dresses and casual outfits, yet none looked decent on me or appropriate for the occasion. One of my husband's nephews wanted to come with us and even had tantrums, but I was firm with my decision to bring him along. My mother-in-law tags along, and she is already a senior citizen. Be brought Caleb, too, and getting a toddler would be chaos. Also, I don't like the responsibility, accidents happen, you know.
The weather wasn't good, with rain and drizzle, but we no longer had time in the next few days. Due to the traffic, it took a while before we could reach the mall. It was already lunchtime, so we decided to eat first before shopping.
Usually, it's a challenge to decide where to eat. Everyone will just say, it's up to you!
We ended here as it was the nearest to where we were standing: Tokyo to Tokyo.
Asking what they thought was a waste of time, as they would answer both, "anything!" So, I was the one who ordered and chose a group meal. It was good for four, even though we were only three 😆.
Coleslaw, meats, vegetables, sushi, and, of course, rice. The food was okay, but I am not fond of fried meat and no dressing for coleslaw. At first, I asked the crew to confirm.
It was nice to dine outside finally, though homecooked meals were still the best.
Oh wait, it comes with a tempura and red cold tea.
I can say my hunger subsided, but not that much. I was holding my baby all through the meal, and he would grab my food.
After we proceeded to the primary purpose, it stressed me out!
Shopping in Manila offers a variety of choices. You can shop until you drop as long as you have energy and, of course, money. However, the mall was only on the second floor and had limited choices. It seemed like the items were old stocks. My previous fashion style was inappropriate for my current body.
It was for christening, so it should be something white.
My husband got bored and tired of following me around checking out almost everything on display, so he sat in a corner until Caleb fell asleep 😆.
Even my mother-in-law was done shopping, but I wasn't contented.
At the end, I just chose a white polo shirt and trousers.
My sister-in-law was like, "Oh, you look so formal. I was not used to seeing you wearing that." It was because I usually wear dresses.
Caleb was already mad as he couldn't get enough sleep.
Standing in line, I was about to pay when we caught him staring at these ladies. They tried making him smile, but his expression remained the same.
He actually had the habit of staring at someone if they were unfamiliar to him. It was because he was in the stage of knowing everyone. Yet, I am confident he was a happy baby, if not in a lousy mood 😆.

Wait, a polo shirt and trousers for christening? That's formal 😅. But since that's your choice then it's all good.
Home cooked meals are always the best.
Haha yeah, like I am going to the office 😆🤣.

Maybe he has eyes for the pretty ones😌. Though I feel sorry for the nephew you didn't tag along😐.
Cute family! This is a unique way of family bonding and Caleb is so cute and peaceful ❤❤
Your son is mad, hehehhe, i relate cause my kids did that too, when we are in the shopping mall, if they see a stranger ohhh they snobbed and be mad when the stranger keep on laughing . heheheh
Your son will choose his girlfriends carefully when he grows up.🤣 He's so cute! When I go shopping with children, I go crazy because it's impossible to even try something with them...😊
