What if your toddler smiles like these asking to buy him something, would you give in?
My body has been screaming for a massage for months but couldn't go to the nearest SPA as no one could take care of my son. (More on I don't want to leave him, toxic Mom attitude of mine.) So the other day, when my sister in-law chatted she was available to accompany us, (she will take care of Caleb while I am having a massage) I didn't hesitate to say yes. The one I'd been eyeing to visit was a SPA in one of the well known malls.
Not all but some of the therapists here are blind, I wanted to help in some ways by availing a service.

)As much as I wanted to avail a whole body massage, I chose half body, particularly my back. They also sell some oils if anyone wants to avail.
After signing the consent form, it took only a few minutes and I was called. The last time I had pampered like this was in the year 2023. That was before I got pregnant. It feels like all my muscles are so tense, worn out and every hand rub feels comforting. Finally, that makes my back lighter. Hoping there will be someone available to accompany us next month.
Just right after I was done, SIL told me that her Boss called and she needed to go immediately. We were supposed to have some snacks but she refused as she was in a hurry.
It was still early and we didn't have anything to do at home so I decided to roam around.
Drop by the department store to check shoes or trousers.

)We passed by the toys section and Caleb saw these balls. Immediately picked it up and no longer wanted to let go.

)As I checked, it only cost more than $1 so I bought it for him. Considered as a treat and so he would have something to get busy.
Still, he was so busy roaming around that I couldn't check the items I should buy. In the end, I decided to get down to have lunch.
I missed eating pizza and fries at S&R and this is where we stayed for a while.
After, we were brought here near the entrance and looked at what Caleb had found 😆.

)He was so fascinated with the toys but he liked these trucks and the car for the ride. Yes, he couldn't talk yet but his smiles were enough to say;

I almost but it is not yet appropriate for his age. Perhaps a few months more or when his Daddy is here. Surely, he would be the one to assist Caleb to avoid getting hurt.
Also, how can we bring that home? 🤣 Too bulky and I had a backpack plus him to carry?
Good thing he didn't cry or have a tantrum. We will go back next time and buy that son, Mama promised.

Hehe, if his dad was with us, for sure we had bought that toy.
Though I also refrained from buying because he had bought already. For sure Caleb had a lot of toys once his dad is home , 😅.

True. I may be not a mom yet but I also look to factors. Kids grow too fast and might play things for few weeks and then bye bye toys, haha 😆

I do have massage from a blind massage therapist one time and its relaxing but my body is not used to that kind of massage but in old way massage. The hardest thing is to say no to your child especially when they have like CALEB'S cute smile.
There none in our neighborhood who is good in traditional hilot sadly.
