Went out for a short walk, hoping to burn some calories gain during the holidays.

Weeks of husband was home, I could already feel the weight I gained 🤣☹️. It took me months to shake off few kilograms but sad part was I easily gained it back. Tell me it's normal if you are in mid-thirties please. So, I won't starved myself. LOL.

It was actually the husband's fault as he kept on cooking foods and I could hardly resist. That is why, one day I told him that we should had a walk so I could burnt some calories. Not only that, our toddler could walk and run as much as he want!

It's been months since the last time I walked her and it was still the same. Both sides of the road still dense. Though at some part few houses was added.

As there are only few houses here as most of the land owners chose to live at the Municipality frontier, less vehicles passes by. Perfect for a toddler who feels like he was big enough to be guided 🤣. Our son Caleb was trying to get lose from his Daddy hands.

One thing I noticed, coconut trees are healthier and bearing fruits.

As we continue walking found these cherries.

Anyone who want?

Kidding aside, just found these wild fruits bearing plant beside the road. I am not even sure if it's edible.

It was the husband who was busy chasing our son who is enjoying the freedom. He was laughing while tailing flying butterflies. Wanting to catch them but he ended up falling down 🤣. Judging how, I am sure he wasn't hurt at all from here comes his Daddy running pick him up and cleaned up the dirt in his hands.

Somehow, I had adjusted being a Mom to a boy toddler so not everytime I picked him when he fall. There are even times I acted like nothing happened and my boy would also stand up on his own.

Thus one thing he was doing now was, hitting back when his hurt regardless who and what. So yeah, he hit the road and even our walls sometimes 🤣.

I wanted to walk going to the woods but saw a dog, not sure if it was a stray. Though it wasn't barking, we not even sure if we could pet him.

So I told the husband we should go back and go at the area where Taal Volcano could be seen from afar.

BUT, it was not possible at all because there are two GUARDS 🤣. See how stiff they are looking likes they are on DUTY!

They made me laughed and yes we decided to go home instead.

On our way back, here are some candid photos I took.

They look cute aren't they?

Sad but we are now counting the days as husband will be back abroad these January 27. As much as we want, this is the time yet for him to stay here with us for good.

Maybe few more years not unless we would win in a lottery 🤣.

Thus for now, we are enjoying and creating lovely memories with our little family.

Thanks for dropping by, till next time.

Such a sweet family walk, I loved the little details like the healthy coconut trees and the wild fruits, and your son chasing butterflies made me smile.
