We just strolled around in a nearby mall and dropped by a photo studio for a family picture.

Just a random day, my husband and I decided to stroll around the nearest mall in our place, SM Lipa. One reason was that staying at home for the past seven months was so dull, and since he is here, I wanted to take the opportunity. Also, we have an SM gift check given by one of Caleb's Godparents, which we decided to use to buy his milk. Yet, before leaving, the husband remembered his old phone and wanted to replace its battery. He wanted to use it to listen to music.

Waiting time wasn't long as it was only us, the customers perhaps, since it was still early.

While looking for a comfort room, we passed by a photo studio. We've been thinking of having a family picture. Why not? It's our first time and first year. As much as possible we wanted to document memories. Caleb grows too fast. The next time his dad goes home, he will probably run already.

After a short conversation with the staff, we avail the package #2. Though we haven't visualized yet where to hang the frame 🤣.

The photo room wasn't spacious, just a stool and a small couch. There are no more props, only a white background.

Caleb was already awake, and he easily smiled, especially with ladies. Thus, we don't know what happened this time, but he was so serious. Even the photographer tried, but to no avail. Our session ended with him wearing that stern face!

Since we needed to wait at least two hours, we decided to dine first at KFC. Honestly speaking, I like it more than ordering is self-service now. At least I could choose better.

Yet, the husband wasn't satisfied at all. He was so disappointed because of the rice. Some grains are still uncooked, while others are overcooked! What more, how much is the per serving now?

He expressed dissatisfaction throughout the meal, even after we were done. Mind you he is someone with long patience. It was like he felt so unfair; we paid right anyway.

We still need to wait an hour, so why not go to the supermarket to buy milk? How lucky are those with unlimited liquid gold! If I was blessed, we could save a lot.

He also bought a particular brand of tofu as he and his friends were planning for a drinking session. They need some appetizers to mix with the alcohol.

On our way to going back to the studio, I saw this.

Perfect, as I wanted some massage!

Okay, we will just wait for you at the bench. Husband said as he was already tired of carrying our son.

Thirty minutes was indeed a relief. After, I claimed our photo.

8R and 11R, the frame was not that sturdy, and the printed quality was nice. However, we haven't decorated our wall yet, so we decided to hang it next time. I kept it for a while. Thus, I am sharing here the soft copies.

At first I was skeptical as I wasn't prepared. I should have at least visited a spa for hair treatment and manicure. However, this is the real motherhood. Not always sweet and beautiful as seen in social media. In a part of A Mother, there are physical changes and a lot more transitions.

See? This is what I told earlier: Caleb didn't smile.
