Revisiting one of the churches that we used to express devotion as we are thankful.

Every time my husband is home, we ensure to visit one of the churches that we used to pledge devotion. That was back in time asking the almighty to bless us with a child. One of them is the Redemptorist Lipa.
)
This one is the nearest in our place approximately thirty minutes if there is no traffic. Husband would join Novena's here every Wednesday wherever he was free when he wasn't working abroad.
As most of my in-laws are busy with their own families, it was only us with our son Caleb.
)Arriving there early before the mass starts, we first drop by at the Lighting Chapel.
Here, you can light a candle and solemnly pray to your heart's desires. Candles are free but you can drop some donation at the collection box- not mandatory.
Since our son was as noisy as he was NOSEY, we decided to light candles separately. One must stay outside while carrying Caleb.

We've been blessed and had what we wanted in life. Not grand but enough to live a simple lifestyle. So my heart desires only protection of our loved ones and thanksgiving to the big man above.

This is one of the well known churches, and usually there are several candles lit.

Afterwards, we went inside the church and looked for seats that are convenient for having a toddler. The thought that he might disturbed other devotees so we chose at the side portion.
)
)And here comes the challenge. He won't stay still and keeps on wandering around. Good thing his Daddy is with us!
The mass is about to start and Caleb was called by nature . I know fellow parents could relate how challenging it was once you are outside and in a public place. That is why I can't leave the house without carrying a backpack with his personal things. Always heavy as you don't know when such of emergencies happened.

It was already twilight when the mass was over. Some immediately go, others are busy taking photos and others maybe planning where to go next.

Going outside cars are lining up as the exit was good only for one vehicle.

Us decided to drop by at the market first and eat dinner before going home. There are several fast food chains around but unfortunately crowded. Not hard to guess, many had the same plan with us. We could wait but I am already tired so we chose to dine at Chowking.
Surprisingly, there were only a few diners when we arrived.

Our order was served after a few minutes. Not sure but maybe their sales were affected because of previous issues when it comes to the food quality. Even for me, this has become my last priority.
Food tastes different than before or maybe my taste buds change. You know aging .

I can imagine how you too became miserable at Caleb's call of nature😆😛
It taste like food preservatives.
