Quick birthday celebration, dining out with my toddler.

As I posted in my last blog, how I celebrate my birthday in my mid-thirties, Caleb and I drop by in one of the fast food chain to eat.

Where?

I told my sister in-law we should dine at Kenny Rogers as it was at least healthier. She needs to maintain a good cholesterol level. However, in her mind it was Shakeys and only realized when we were already there 😂.

Well, it's been a while too since the last time I dined with her so it's fine. I missed the pizza and mojos.

Good thing there are only a few customers and several tables available. We chose it here so I could lay down my son as he drank his milk.

Les, I am too full, just order for your self., sister in-law said.

Oh no, I was planning to order a combo meal good for two. Yet, I ended up having a solo meal instead. Still, I insisted on ordering food for her and she could take it out later.

While waiting for our orders. I gave my son his milk. You know toddlers are toddlers! He was so energetic and his shoes fell on the floor 🤣. He kept on kicking his feet.

He even wanted to play with his shoes but I didn't let him as it was dirty. So, he kept on grabbing the menu instead and anything within his reach.

Food finally served. I ordered this combo as it had all the food I wanted in small servings. Well in my age I know overeating is no longer nice, lol.

It comes with soup and Caleb likes it. That's the only food he actually ate aside from pasta. He gets it from me as he also loves eating pancit, indeed my son!

Since he was sitting on a high chair and my sister in-law was there, I enjoyed my food at least.

Before leaving, I went for comfort as we will be commuting in traveling home.

I was surprised that they now have a claw machine. It's also a good marketing strategy as diners with kids could spend some time here while waiting for the food. Not to mention additional income.

As we were waiting for a ride home, we noticed the architectural design of this building. I haven't had a chance to explore stores here but I like the vibes. Reminds me of Manila places near Intramuros. It looks vintage and classy.

Suppose we wanted to wait for the mini bus as it was more comfortable than the jeepney. Thus, the rain started to drizzle so we didn't have a choice. Caleb still had a runny nose after all.

Nevertheless, I had a great time though it was quick. Planning to go out again perhaps next week.
