I had a fun family day last Easter Sunday; it was my son's first time joining, at least in picture-taking..

Happy Easter 🐰🐰 as this blog was supposed to be shared that day. It's a day late, and pardon me for that 🤣.

How time flies. Last year, I shared happenings during our egg hunting with kids here. Now, my son Caleb was able to join, at least in picture taking 😆.

We started the day by attending mass, and then we went to my in-laws' house on the next street.

Their house had a spacious backyard, which was suitable for egg hunting. Also, it turns to family day. It's been a while since the last time we dined together, as everyone was busy working.

Since they had a vast space and many trees, the goats they were raising were here.

One was slaughtered for that day and cooked: ** papain and kaldereta**. Yes, they are that generous. Everyone also pinches in, and I bought ice cream. There is no need to cook 😆.

I wasn't able to take photos because I was hungry and taking care of Caleb while eating. He was in his stroller but also wanted to be fed 😆.

It was fun until we decided to start the event.

They look so sweet, right? One thing I was thankful for was that all his cousins were patient with him, always considering he was still a baby, even though some of them were toddlers.

Yet, you know what he did?

When everyone was not looking, he took the opportunity to bite him! On his shoulder with all his might.

It really hurt as I could see his teeth marks, and there was a small wound.

In fairness to his cousin, though it hurts, he didn't hurt Caleb in any way. You are still lucky son!

They also had a photo before while their Tita was discussing the mechanics. Caleb was just busy eating his basket, lol.

They all ran, seeking the eggs as soon as the Go signal was given. Only my son was left, as he couldn't walk or run yet.

Don't worry, Caleb, I will look for more eggs for you. Athena, his cousin, said. Aw, that sweet little girl.

It wasn't supposed to, but even we adults were looking for eggs. Don't be judgmental, as we hadn't experienced this back then. However, we would couch kids who had few in their baskets.

The sun's heat wasn't a hindrance; it Didn't even bother them.

Everyone was competitive as, after minutes, all Easter eggs had been found.
Now, it's time to give prizes.

It's not that extravagant, but it's food that kids will love.
Each egg had a number inside that corresponded with the prizes. Having a lot wasn't an assurance that you would have a lot. It was randomly labeled.

It was so much fun, and I was also thinking of doing that at home. However, my son and his other cousin are the only kids on my side. Everyone was already in the teenage stage 🤣.
