Getting ready for the Nesting; buying additional baby stuff.

In my blog here, I had mentioned that I dropped by at the mall to check the a an event (grand baby fair ) by baby company.

Currently, I am already seven month pregnant and two months left, we will be welcoming our baby boy! Though I still have much time to complete all needed stuff as preparation for nesting still, I had wanted to buy a few. As long as I have time and I can!

Months ago, I did purchase some clothes for newborns and when I went home last holiday, I washed it and kept it inside the cabinet. As suggested by the experts, lol white is the preferred color for newborns. Well, I am obedient. Also, they say babies grow fast so I didn't purchase much aside from financial reasons too, budgeting 101.

Still, there are a lot of needs to be bought and this caught my attention the moment I entered the event center.

How cute and I imagine my little one sleeping by here. Yet, I remembered that the crib I am planning to purchase from an online seller already had a set of beddings. Aside from that it was expensive 🤣, so I roamed around for a while and found this.

Quite cheaper and this could be brought at the hospital during the delivery.

And I could use it at home in our bed. Just simply not that thick as I haven't bought an air-conditioner yet! Not sure if we can purchase or maybe after the delivery if we still have an extra budget.

Was planning to buy some onesies and frogsuits as sleeping wear as I find it cute. Most of the vlogs I've watched this are the baby's attire.

Then, I saw the kiosks with a Carter brand. My sister in law handed me some of her son's pre-loved clothes and I remembered that's the brand. Thus upon checking I didn't expect that one onesie could cost $8 or more! 😆

I am a first time Mom so completely clueless about baby stuff. Though there were some items on sale for $30 for seven pieces, I still didn't purchase them. Might, I will be checking out some items in my Shein cart. Those baby newborn clothes are more affordable.

What about a bathtub? Oh no! As much as I wanted to give the best for our first born, I opted not to purchase this one. Hehe, not on the budget. Guess I will be buying at Shoppee instead.

What did I bought then?

Aside from the comforter set, I picked up additional mittens.

Well, previously I only had four so I got more pairs.

These cute socks! Not sure if the baby could already use this but yeah, I just like it.

Do you guys use swaddles? or Pranella's?

Most of the videos I watched, parents are using swaddles. Yet, I noticed it was in western countries or Europe. Here in my country, most of the time we are using this pranela as a blanket or to wrap the baby. Or maybe this is too traditional as I saw some swaddles being sold at the event too.

So? Should I purchase that too?

Oh yeah, I did get a piece of onesie too that cost only $3 but I must admit the fabric wasn't that good compared with Carter's.

Almost regretted going there and buying a few items upon seeing the long lines! Couldn't use the Pregnant card as most of the customers are pregnant too and they are with their partners! Couldn't help but pity myself 🤣. It felt like I am a single mom. Why am I alone here? With that thought I have an urge to go back to the different kiosks and purchase more so I can avenge my husband 🤣. (Crazy thoughts.), but then my feet hurt so badly from walking and walking so I chose not to and waited for my turn.

Then I saw these cute teddy bears! Send the picture to the husband and tell him it's the baby's first toy. Yet he answered huh? it looks like Mr. Bean's teddy!

Goodness, such a basher, but still I purchased it!

What can you say ladies, any thoughts and tips on what to prepare more for the nesting?
