A quick bonding with friends with tea, pastries, pizza and a glass of margarita.

I shared before that I traveled back to Metro Manila, (capital) after more than a year to process clearance from my former company.

Then had a quick bonding with friends. Since I had already eaten lunch, we agreed to have tea instead at Aperitif located in SM megamall.

If only I wouldn't go to places like these as it looks fancy and expensive. However, I have a companion and it was a treat from my former Boss. As I mentioned before, she was nice and one of the best. We gained a good relationship outside work. She is also one of those who helped me during my postpartum.

I am not even familiar with the pastries displayed though it looks delicious but makes me feel full 🤣.

Seeing the utensils reminds me to move more refined as I might drop it!

She ordered an afternoon tea set and came with a tray of different pastries.

The first one that caught my attention as I thought it was a blueberry cheesecake!
Only realized it wasn't as the top was caviar and don't know what are the other ingredients. None of them wanted it and me as someone who doesn't waste food? Not the taste I expected but it was still okay.

Good thing all are just in small servings just enough to have something to eat while catching up. Yet the tea seemed wasn't enough.

As we finished our food we moved to Pizzulu. Why? We wanted to have a drink even just a glass of.

Ah indeed! We should live in the way we want and not to please others!

I am full but my tummy still had some space enough to cater a glass of frozen margarita and a pizza.

As of now, I am in the stage drink to chill not to get drunk.

I like this as it wasn't strong considering I will be travelling back home.

Infairness, I am not a fan of pizza but this was an exception and I find it delicious. Or maybe since I seldom ate now?

Conversation is getting more enjoyable, too bad my time is limited. I need to leave at six so I can reach home before midnight.

One of my friends accompanied me to the bus station outside the mall. It was nice of him (oh he is not actually him, lol).

As I sat down in the bus, it made me think of how I missed my old life. I mean, yes, being a mom is my dream and happy to be. Yet sometimes a part of me is longing to want life to be. Thus I know I still have a few more years before I could have more time again. For now, my toddler still needs me and it's my choice to be a hands on Mom.

I was just happy to have a few hours of my time and I appreciate my husband for allowing me. He actually encourages me but it was me who didn't want to leave our son. If you're a Mom I know you can relate with the guilt.

The next thing was I dozed off, lol a little bit tipsy.
