My Introductory Post Who AM I? Newbie Hiver

I am someone who has learned that success is not measured by medals or certificates alone, but by perseverance, growth, and heart. My name is Hazel Cañedo but you can call me Hazel. I am from the land of promise Philippines. I'm 25 years old. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Criminology, last 2023. But before of these success, I also failed many times, but failures never make me stop, in fact those failures are my motivations to continue my studies. And I'm proud to say that I made it.

This picture captures more than just a graduation day it tells a story of late nights, countless challenges, and unwavering determination. Behind every smile in this photo lies years of effort, sacrifices, and the strength to keep going even when things got tough.

I am a dreamer and a doer. I believe that education is more than just earning a diploma it’s about finding purpose, building confidence, and learning how to stand tall after every fall. I have faced moments of doubt and difficulty, but I never allowed them to define me. Instead, I used them as stepping stones toward becoming the best version of myself.

I am also a friend, a motivator, and a believer in teamwork. The smiles around me in this picture remind me that success is sweeter when shared with others. My journey was never meant to be walked alone each person beside me played a part in shaping who I am today.

Most importantly, I am proud. Proud of my journey, my growth, and my resilience. This graduation marks not the end, but a new beginning a reminder that I am capable of achieving anything I set my heart on. I carry with me gratitude for everyone who believed in me and the courage to continue striving for my dreams.

I am me strong, determined, and ready for whatever comes next.

My daughter's success was also mine. Her name is Lezah C. Gomeaz, but we use to call her Inday. She's my first born and she's the proof that I can be a mother at the same time I'm a student. Way back 2019 I used to bring her to school. And time flies so fast now she started achieving her goal.

She's my achievement in life also. Her name is Zariah C. Gomez, but we used to call her baby Zuray. She's my second born and she brings the happiness to all of us.

They are my mirrors, because I saw myself to them. They are my strength and my everything. Having them was an achievements also. I failed many times but here I am now smiling with my precious daughters and I love you both more than I love myself.

Why I joined Hive?
I joined Hive because I want to learn, to lead, and to belong. Most of all, I joined because I believe in the power of community and I want to be part of something that empowers others to shine just as brightly.
