Wednesday Walk: "A Wet Trip to the Ethel Eyerly Senior Center "!

Here we are at #wednesdaywalk #46 of 2025, and there is only a few more to go this year!
First, I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - Congrats to you!

So for this weeks #wednesdaywalk I went over to the Ethel Eyerly Senior Center. I figured it was probably the driest place around today. It was drizzling intermittently all day, and a bit cool - but I got out!
You will notice throughout the photos the dampness on sidewalks, etc...
So the first thing I noticed when I got there was that there was quite a few Blackbirds, just like at the Park last week!
This is a group of males,
And these are all females. Interesting how they separated into two groups, over at the Park they are normally mixed like a herd!
This is the community pool (like nobody can go to the beach!). I was surprised to see it had water in it. That full can not be from the recent rains - a few weeks ago it was empty!
Also interesting it is next to the Senior Center.
This is a little picnic area behind the pool,
This path / walkway leads out to the back area,
This is coming in from the parking area,
And here we have things I find very interesting, since I "am" at the Senior Center. Here is a children's play area,
This is a little closer and to the left,
And to the right,
Now. I guess that people would say that these things are here so the "elderly" can relax with their grandchildren, and I can go with that. However I do wonder how much of the budget they spent on this instead of some programs, for some elderly people - there are a lot here.
Oh well - that's what life's like in 2025 for the elderly.
