Wednesday Walk 12.24.25, "Still Blooming"!

Hello Friends, and Welcome Back, and thank you for your visit!

Here we are at #wednesdaywalk second to last of 2025! And friends it has been a year no one could have predicted - in any way for anybody!

And first, I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - Congrats to you!

So for this weeks #wednesdaywalk I was out on Brutus and got lucky and caught a few plants that are still blooming, on Dec 24th!
But first, here is the Sunrise through the fog,

That burned off by 9:30, so then I took off on the bike for the South side of the island to go to the old house.

Over there I saw that the "Shrimp Plants" are still blooming, so I took a few photos. This is a side view,

And you can see in the background the whole plant is still blooming! This is a straight on view of another flower,

After awhile - Kitty feeding, etc... I rode home. It was a beautiful 78°F / 25.55C outside I wanted to take advantage as much as possible!

On the way I passed "Red Fish Pond", also the pond for the high school kayak team. Looking over I noticed the Ducks,

I stopped and took a few photos,

There must be hundreds of them! It took me a few minutes, but I figured it out. Here it is "Duck Season", so the Channels, etc.. are dangerous for them. Here, no one is going to be shooting at them. Against theae 500ft from the school to have a firearm. Well that makes me happy for the Ducks that they are that intelligent!

After that I took a little break and then went back out for a short ride. I went by a friend's house and saw his Mexican Olive tree is also blooming!

By that time it was late in the afternoon,

So I decided to go ahead and head home!
