Wednesday Walk - 01.07.26, First of the year 2026!

Hello Friends, and Welcome Back, and thank you for your visit!

Here we are already at the first #wednesdaywalk of 2026!
And I am going to be "optimistic" about the New Year.

And first, as always I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - Congrats to you!

And "Thank You" for this year, and this community!

So for this weeks #wednesdaywalk I again have only a few photos - but at least they will give you an idea of the pretty warm climate we are having this year - so far.

This is the Sunrise this morning through the trees - very orange!

After pulling myself together I rode over to the old house on "Brutus" and got a few photos of the Basil - "budding in January"!
This is a "healthy stalk" budding,

And this one - which is also budding has a problem,

If we look a little closer we can see it's covered in "Aphids" - in January!

Hard to imagine, but there it is!

The Shrimp Plant is also blooming, actually this year it never stopped! I found one of the best flowers to share with you as well this evening,
