"My Alive and Thriving Monday - And a Big Fire"!

This is a post about my #aliveandthriving Monday that I would like to share with you this Tuesday evening!

So I started the day with this awesome Sunrise,

And then after my morning routine here I went over to the old house. Over there I saw that the Sweet Basil is flowering,

And the Shrimp Plant still is as well,

Now this whole morning I smelled smoke. I saw the Sky had some unusual Clouds, but didn't think much about it...

I came back home, and this was the Sky, with a Contrail,

I took a rest, and then in the afternoon I went back out on the bike.

Here is the Sky, looking South,

When I got to the Park, you could clearly see "something" going on, over on Mustang Island,

I saw this Turkey Vulture on the rocks staring at me,

And still Smoke blowing over from Mustang Island,

And some birds on a Sandbar,

Well I left the Park and visited a friend who lives in the area for a few minutes. While there I noticed that the Fire had gotten much bigger,

So I got on the bike and rode to a field and the Smoke was blowing in,

So I rode back down by the water and got these two photos,

Well after I got home I checked for some information - as this was a big fire! Turns out it was a "Controlled Burn" of 2000+ acres on Mustang Island. I found a post on it, and here is the link:
