Public holidays in Pakistan

Hello everyone!!!!

I hope so you all are fine and happy 😊

We all are humans, have some purpose of living, at least we've something to do in order to live a life. Some are students while some are job holder's while some are searching for job. We all work by somehow and we all love to have rest and we become happy if there's any public holiday.

Publicly holidays we've in Pakistan!!!

I don't know if any Pakistani will join the contest topic in hive learner contest and if they join how they'll explain it but I'm here to introduce our public holidays which we've every year but on some occasion dates are change but holidays remain the same.

Kashmir day!!!

I'll start from the year, begining of the year, it comes every year on 5 February, we celebrate it as a Kashmir day as it's a biggest issue between Pakistan and India, but we've public holiday.

Labour day!!!

Then on 1st May we've holiday of labour day as to celebrate the labours but that's the bitter reality actual labour do their work but we've public holiday.

Youm-e-takbeer!

On 28 May we've public holiday of youm-e-takbeer as it's a biggest incident of our history.

Youm-e-Asura!!!

We grieve the martyred of kerbla, may you know the name of Hassan and Hussain, to live them long in our memory and to condolences we all have two public holiday on every 9 and 10 Muharram (Islamic month).

Eid-ul-fiter

We celebrate this Eid after holy month Ramadan and we've three public holidays to celebrate this festival which we celebrate every year on first Shwaal (Islamic month/ Holy month).

Eid-ul-Adha

We celebrate this Eid on the 10 of zil-hajj (Islamic month) after performe pilgrim/hajj and we've two holidays to celebrate this religious festival.

Eid-milad-Nabi

We celebrate this Eid on 12 Rabi-ul-awal (Islamic month) which is the birth and death anniversary of our holy prophet so we've a public holiday to celebrate this day.

Independence day!!!

On every 14 August, we celebrate our independence day and there's a public holiday for it too.

Defense day!!!!

Every 6 September, we celebrate defense day and mostly we've holiday on this day.

Iqbal day!!!

It's the birthday if our national poet Allama Iqbal and we all have a public holiday on 9 November.

Christmas!!!

25 December we all have also public holiday to celebrate Christmas as Christian also living in our country so just like we celebrate our festival, they also celebrate the festival but we all have public holiday.

Total holiday!!!

These are all our public holidays, it means your fellow Pakistani hivians each year have these holidays which are 15 in total and Sunday is also public holiday here mean every bank, office and school, university has holiday on sunday.

In my opinion, these are enough holidays which we've and there's no need to extra holiday as these are enough to take rest to our brains and body.
