Leaving people behind

Here the another new year, only the Digit change in calendar or we also change with the time. I think with passing time we also change, if we're looking back we're different from today as that was our totally different version. Yeah I changed too as i try to changing people too in my life, i ghost them or leave them if they annoying me.

Leaving people behind!!!
New year mean new beginnings and in my dictionary of life we should let the people leave behind who hurt us it's our right to adding and deleting people from life. I also skip or delete from my life. If i remember the 2016 there's a lot of people in my life but as i grow older i know who's sincere to me and who's not sincere to me so I can take decision on my own.
Who I left behind??
Obviously we've friends and family around us. I'm too shy to make too much friends in my life as I've only two friends and more then decades so I never think to leave them as they're sincere to me, if someday i feel like they're not sincere to me I'll leave them aside but now that's not the situation.
On new year night, i received invitations from many people to come and do get-together on new year night and have a dinner together and spend time together and start a year together. But i didn't accept any invitation as i know these people never come to me when I need them as they're only there to partying and having dinner together.
What should I do with these people who can't help me when I need them in difficult situation. Because i know that 2025 was a tough year for me as i need a lot of people to stand there for me but when I called them no one came as they've lame excuses that they busy in their life and say sorry to me for not coming. I didn't say at that time but at least I know who's there for me so I'm not the person who just partying with you or just do hangouts with you, I'll ghost you if you not there for me when I need.
How I celebrate the New year??
Personally, i didn't celebrate the New year as i stayed at home in my cozy warm bed and enjoy the company of my family. But at New year Eve i just cut the cake with family which is the sign that i start my new year with sweetness and with family. Peacefully I celebrate the new year and I hope that the year will bring peace too in my life.

I think we need to filter all those people that will stay only for the benefits and I'm glad you did. It's true that not everyone we expect might help us when we need them but I think the ones that at least make an effort should be given more chances.
