I spent 20 years in a competition
Hello everyone!!!!
I hope so you all are fine and happy ☺️
Every day we woke up and we do some tasks of our daily routine but some time we set goals to finish the tasks within proper time or set goals to finish the task. But sometimes we do task in competition that I should do that before him/her or I should do better then them. This competition makes us more better to do different task but sometimes it becomes toxic too.

When competition is healthy!!!!!
I raise in a society or in a home where I spent my 20 years of study in competition. My parents always want that I should be the topper of class and as my dad is a government teacher too so he gave me guidance. And believe me in my whole study era I don't need any tutor at home or after school because I've my personal tutor at home who gave me his 24 hour service.
And when they want that I should be the topper of class then it mean I've to compete other students and I don't know maybe it's due to luck or maybe I was a brilliant child so I always the topper of class. Even if class strength is 100 student I come in top 5 or top 10 students of class.
I still remember those golden years of my life as i enjoyed ny student life too but I was a topper. My competition become healthy because being a topper I was rewarded from school, high school and even from college too and also my parents always gave me a reward at my annual result. Have a reward at the end leads me to work more hard in next year.
Here, i can't say that i was greedy and for reward I work hard but you know according to science it's a behavior that if we apply an condition of reinforcement at the end than we get better results.
When competition is unhealthy!!!
Competition can be unhealthy when you are forced to do work and when you set goals beyond your limit because there's a limit of yourself. I see many students and even parents too that students cry at the the result day because he doesn't come first in class but he comes 3rd and 4th in class because student has pressure on his mind that you should come first in your class.
My case was totally different from this unhealthy competition because my dad always check my percentage which was good and he never said me that you should come first but he advised me that you should study hard to get good grades and get percentage.
Final thought's!!!!
I think we should have flexibility in our task and in our goals according to ourselves which we can achieve within specific time. If you read my previous blogs about monthly report of hive you know that I never set high goal because my dad learn me since childhood that I should have flexibility in goals.
That's all for today and it's my entry in this week hive learner contest in #hl-exclusive for the topic #hl-w171e1.
It's awesome to have such a Dad who guided you through your academic years and even influenced how you set realistic goals. Healthy competition helps us do better without being forced to do something we don't really like.
Yes he is always there to support me 🙏 and God blessed me with such a supportive and lovely Dad 💖
