Create Dandiya Sticks at home

Hello Everyone!!!

I hope so you all are fine and happy πŸ˜ƒ

Creativity doesn't mean you need to create a big project or a bog thing but you can be creative with those little things. I think creativity is just the idea of your mind which came from your mind either it's big or short. I do little creativity at home sometime to save money.

(This pack bought from market)

You know it was the wedding ceremony of my younger sister and there's a lot of things to do. Our wedding start with the function of Mehndi (Henna) ceremony in which we play dandiya Dance around the Bride or on the stage in a crew which includes our sisters, friends and cousins who else wants to dance with dandiya.

Dandiya basically a stick and you can dance with holding two sticks in both your hands. We bought 6 pairs of Dandiya from market which are costly at least i think if we can make them at home so yeah paying a price for them is costly. We bought 12 Dandiya sticks for 3.5$. And also there's more people so we need more stick's.

So, let's make it at home ❀️

I need only thin sticks and some colorful shiny paper. And I've these at home because when you do a lot of creative stuff then you've such paper at home.

First i took a stick and i shape it's edge with the fixer so that it doesn't hurt anyone from it's corner.

Then i took a silver paper and cut it's long strip and start to wrapp around the stick and attach it with glue from the last and first point.

Then i took the silver paper again and cut it's like long strip's to make the foil at and attach it to one end of stick.

I repeat the procedure for making yellow dandiya sticks because I've almost leftovers papers at home.

Here i made this different with a shiny white ribbons but from the end attached the silver paper foil.

I made many pairs at home and now the many people can perform dandiya Dance which feels like a crew.

And i think the whole setup look pretty for sure when different colors of dandiya put in pots..

That's all for today and it's my entry in this week #creative-sunday contest.

Thank you for your time and support πŸ™

This is awesome! I love that you've created something meaningful out of some single pieces of wood and foil. I enjoy looking at the colours itself. Well done!πŸ₯°
