Cocatrice ~ Splinterlands character

I'm here again with another piece of drawing from @splinterlands character for their weekly art contest and today I draw a dragon which is not really easy to draw and it's name is cocatrice. Mostly I think I can't draw the sketch of dragon but then i think that I should give a try at least.

Let's come to the procedure.

Material required!!!!

Procedure!!!!

First, I draw the outline of it's face with it's mouth and it's tongue rolled outside just like it's yelling at somewhere.

Later start to draw it's elongated body with fur on it's upper side of the body which are looks like hairs on it's head.

Then I draw it's flapping wings because it's flying in the air and yell at something. Then I made it's two legs with feet and remaining body parts which goes for the completion of the character.

When I start to put in color, i put light orange color in it's body fur and green color in it's body because our dragon is of green color. For choosing a background, I choose red sky which looks horrible because dragon flying over there.
